I will first say that I hate mobile ordering. I know some people find it to be timesaver, but to me it’s just one more thing I have to do on my phone. And most places really push it due to staffing, so fine.

But we’re here now and my major complaint is that you can’t order a QS kids meal with the adult dining plan on mobile order. My 11 year old is picky and typically wants a kids meal, but you have to locate an employee and explain the situation. Everyone has been super nice and helpful, but it’s annoying! I know I’m paying the adult price for less food, which is okay with me. It works in their favor, so I don’t get it.

One thing I don't like about the DDP is that it's so inflexible. I was in Coral Reef once, and the lady next to me wasn't very hungry and just wanted an appetizer instead of an entree. The CM said that because she was on the DDP, they couldn't do any substitutions. The lady explained that it would be to the advantage of the DDP to have her order less, but no can do.

In this situation you're wasting money and I would not have gotten the DDP to begin with.

I understand the frustration but only so much can be done on the app so when you have special circumstances then you have to do what you have to do.

I do think mobile order is better than standing in a long line to order though.

I know it’s doesn’t make sense money-wise, but it’s a multi-generational trip and grandparents wanted to pay for everyone’s food. Not everyone is together the entire time, especially for lunch, so DDP is easiest in that way. Definitely a first world problem.
