ddp and kids ages

Hi,
Just a quick question for all you knowledgebale dissers out there.

We are going to disney in october for 16 nights with our three kids, 2, 5 and 7. We are looking at upgrading the 7 year old to a disney adult on the ddp as she is a much more adventurous eater (so her disney ticket will be for a disney adult).

My question is this, if eating out of pocket at a couple of restaurants, these most likely being buffets, will the 7 year old be charged as a disney adult (10 years and over) or as a child as she actually is only 7.

I just wasnt sure how disney know the ages of children. Plus my child is only 7 and although fairly tall most definately does not look 10. Do they go by who is on your room info on the magic bands, and if so how does that work, as we could be with our extended family and their kids too, so not sure how they know ages of all the kids.

Not trying to get anything extra out of disney, but also don't feel it would be right to be charged an adults price at buffets for my 7 year old.

Just tell them the age and they'll charge you the kids price.
