DDP and Family Style Restaurants???

For the restaurants that serve family style (ie: Ohana's, Liberty Tree, Whispering Canyon) what do you get with the new dining plan now that you don't get appetizers?

I don't *know* for sure since I haven't been there yet this year, but it's my understanding that the family style meals won't change. They include everything for one price if you're paying cash OOP, so it wouldn't make sense to change the rules for DDP customers.

That's one way we're planning on getting around the lack of appetizers this year--scheduling up a few more buffets and/or family style meals. We'll still do a few regular TS restaurants, and I'm sure we'll just end up paying OOP for appetizers for those anyway. I do like a nice salad before my meal and my dh is an appetizer junkie (like so many here who would happily skip the dessert but won't give up the appy).

Since the family style restaurants have a fixed meal, you get the whole meal

yep it's like buffet meals the still let you get the salads and appetizer stuff ...
