We are going to OKW in a 2 bedroom in November. We have stayed there before and had the DDP for everyone that was in our room. But this time my in-laws will only be coming for half of the trip with us. They would like to get the DDP but how does that work. I know it is for the amount of nights that you have for the reservation but since they will not be there the entire time are they able to even get the plan? Thank you for all your help.

They can get the plan, but it must be for the entire length of the reservation it's tied to- not just the days they will be there. If the reservation is for 5 days and they will be there three, they will still have to purchase the full 5 days. If they will be on your reservation even for a few days, you will have to get the plan for them for the entire stay or you will not able to get the plan yourself.

Good luck!

If you go with a one-bedroom and a studio for them, you can both get the dining plan for the time you need it and you'll have the same accommodations...plus privacy. You can ask that the units be near each other, but I'm sure that's harder to do when you're not arriving together. Still, I'd bet they could get you in the same cluster of buildings and that would be close enough.

Besides getting separate units, you could have separate reservations. Say 4 nights and 2 nights and get the DDP for only one of the stints. Or you could get it the entire time and plan more signature options to use up the credits. You could negotiate when you check in but the rules are clearly written and not in your favor.
