DDP and Early Check-in ??

We'll be arriving in the afternoon on a Saturday and we'll be staying at the WDW Hilton our first night so we can hit the parks running for our first full ticketed day on Sunday, as this is an unusually short trip for us.

We plan on checking in early at the BCV and hitting the parks.

My question is: I assume we won't be getting a key so early for our room, and wondered how we would use or DDP without keys?

I'm sure there is a simple answer...enlighten me please!

Since your using DDP that means that you have a Magic your way package which includes your tickets. Everything is on your "Key to the World" aka your room key. When you check in, if your room isn't ready, you will still be given your Key to the World so that you can access your tickets and DDP.

Actually my DDP is separate, as I'm renting from a DVC owner.

When you check in you still get your room key which will have your DDP on it. The barcode won't be active to open your room until they assign it to you, but you'll be good to go for food.

O.K. I have a twist on this question. I have a room only night the first night. I check in late about 5PM. Will they give me my room key for the next night with my dining and tickets on them if I'm staying in the same room ( I know it's no gurantee but it was requested to stay in the same room) that first night that's room only. Would be nice becaue I could eat dinner that night on dp if they do. If not oh well.

No. They cannot give you your room key for the next day until between 4AM and 7AM the next morning (typically around 5AM or 5:30).

Thanks Bicker...at least I know that I can go at about 5:30 to get my park tickets. I have a 8 o clock ADR.
