Good morning All! My family of (soon to be) 5 are planning to stay at a DVC through RCI in December 2015. For anyone who has experience with this, is it possible to add the dining plan? I know if isn't a huge savings, but the nice part will be to have it paid for before we go, and we will eat the food. Although we stay DVC, we don't use it for the kitchen more than breakfast.

Yes, in your RCI paperwork there should be a phone number to call DVC Member Services, call and you can add the dining plan. Be aware that it must be paid for when you add it, so have a credit card handy. And it has to be added at least 48 hours (I'd add it earlier) before your arrival day.

Yes, you can add a dining plan to an in-bound RCI exchange. Once you receive the confirmation, there will be a phone number for DVC Member Services. You can call them and identify yourself as an in-bound RCI exchange. You can then add (and pay for) one of the Disney Dining Plans and/or Disney's Magical Express. For the dining plan, it must be added for all guests (ages 3 and older) listed on the reservation for all nights of the exchange.

Yes, guests staying at DVC resorts via RCI exchange may purchase the dining plan. You will need to call MS and the plan must be paid for when added to your reservation. Everyone aged 3 and over on the reservation must have the plan for all 7 nights of your reservation.

When you contact DVC, you can also ask for the Disney Resort Confirmation number so you can link it to MyDisneyExperience.com. Once linked, you will be able to customize MagicBands for your trip. If you link park admission to MDE, you will be able to make FP+ selections beginning at 60 days from check-in.
