I was on another thread asking about airfare and brought up DDP mentioning I already had a room. (but not that I was a DVC member) Anyways, someone said to get the DDP you had to purchase a package with disney with room and park tickets. I know the DDP is available to us as members, but my question is is there a minimum of ticket days I have to purchase to get the DDP.

There is no ticket purchase requirement to get the DDP on a points reservation.

Great thanks for the speedy reply. :goodvibesI was getting a little nervous. WE love DDP but were thinking with DVC we might just go to the park one or two days and DTD or the hotels for some vacations. Very good to know and thanks again~!

With DVC, there is still a requirement that everyone in the room be on the same dining plan. You also need to purchase it for every night of the stay. But as previously indicated, when booking a points stay through DVC Member Services, DDP is not part of a package.

You must notify MS at least 48 hours before the start of your reservation to add the plan. You can't add it at check in.

Currently, you pay for the dining plan when you check in. DVC will be changing that to paying for it when you add it to your reservation in the near future.

dvc knows that lots of us have an annual pass. So it would be unfair for them to demand we buy tickets too.

so you get the DDP w/o tickets.
