DDP and Disney Visa reward points (DVC add-on)

I'm adding the dining plan to our DVC reservation for April. I have been told by Member Services that I have to pay at check-in, but they didn't know the answer to this question. Can I pay for the dining plan using the $500+ in reward dollars I've earned? Has anyone done this?

I haven't done this...yet. That's exactly what I'm planning to do for our trip in October. I don't see why you couldn't use it. The rewards card is accepted anywhere at Disney that accepts credit cards.

Reward dollars works just like normal money at disney. So you should be just fine...

You should be fine...I used my rewards card to pay some of my final bill this January...all I did was go to the front desk, give them my card, and voila! my bill was $187 less. I was also told that it could be used just about anywhere a credit card could be used if I so chose.
