DDP and Disney Reward Dollars

I know we'll have to pay for DDP in full when I book it, but I wondered if anyone had used their reward dollars from Disney Visa to pay for part of the cost? We won't have enough reward dollars to pay for the entire amount and I didn't know if they would let us pay part of it with rewards and credit card the rest.... thanks

That brings up an interesting point. One time I stayed at OKW with 3 friends and we had the dining plan. When we arrived, we each paid our share at check-in. Two of us used a credit card, one cash, one Disney Rewards. It would make it a little more difficult now.

That's another thing that will have to be worked out along with renting - how you are going to have friends staying with you pay for the dining plan. Obviously the friends will now need to reiumburse the member who made the reservation instead of being able to pay for it themselves upon arrival.

If the friends are DVC members themselves, would they be given access to the reservation by Member Services to pay their part of the dining plan?
