DDP and DDE question

Does anyone know if the gratuitity debates are really supposed to be about the Disney Dining Experience and not the DDP?

I know there is some resentment on the DDExperience because a lot of people are tipping off the discounted total and not the total before the discount, as it should be

According to CMs who posted, there will be changes for both.

DDP will no longer have gratuity included in the cost of the package. It will be up to the guest to add a tip.

DDE will have an 18% tip automatically added to the first tab.

Hope I got that right?

Joan In 2008 the DDE card will include a 18% grat on the first total , and the DDP will not include 18% or any grat at all unless your a party of 6 or more and then will be presented a seperate check for the gratuity, seems weird but thats Disney for ya
