DDP alcohol

I am sure this has been asked and answered, but my search turned up nothing.
What's the deal with the standard DDP and alcohol? Is it just wine and beer? Any cocktails or anything else interesting?
Is it QS and TS?

(don't get me wrong, not planning to spend a week sozzled, just interested)

Alcohol is included at both QS and TS restaurants. It is beer, wine, and cocktails. There is a pinned post up top on this board that has all of the included alcohol at quick service, there really isn't a set price. At TS, it seems like most things are included except for things that include multiple drinks like beer flights. Many servers will also give you a soda if you would like in addition to your alcoholic drink as well, but not always.

There is no difference (that I am aware) between the different plan levels and what is offered. You will have the same options regardless of plan purchased

Thank you. That's interesting. I was last there before they allowed alcohol as a DDP option so I am new to it. I don't drink a lot (my user name is actually a convoluted amalgamation of my children's names) but, can be tempted by a cocktail occasionally.

We had the regular Dining Plan when we were at Disney in May of this year. Alcoholic beverages were included in the plan. At all of the restaurants, the server would let us know which drinks were NOT included, since a few of the highest priced ones were not part of the plan. One I can recall as not included was the drink served in 1/2 of a pineapple at O'hana's although all of the other drinks were included.

We found it a fun way to try various mixed drinks we might not otherwise have enjoyed.

That's what I am thinking. I have Free Dining, and, it's looking like a fab way to try things I would think twice about otherwise. I am excited to try some of the cocktails. I have tried the pineapple thing before, so, no problems there!

Yup. Unless they've changed it recently. We've gotten lapu lapus minus the pineapple when we've been on the dining plan. We even got lucky once and they came in pineapples even though we were told they wouldn't. We love us some lapu lapus!
