do they require an id of some sort when you use the disney dining experience card? Also, can you order it online?

You do need your AP card or Florida id. I believe you have to pick it up at any of the Guest Services locations in the parks.

Of the five TS restaurants, only Chefs de France and Trails End asked for photo ID. We also used the DDE card at Captain's Galley at the Yacht Club, Tony's Town Square and Wilderness Lodge Artist Point...

They may ask for your AP pass as it is required to get a DDE card. No you can't order it on line. Either by mail ;fax;phone. I understand you can now oder right at Guest Services same day.

It is mixed as to whether we get asked or not. Most of the time I just put it in there so they don't have to ask. If they ask and you don't have any ID, you won't be able to get the discount.

I've been asked for ID several times when using my DDE card. The strangest place was at POP food court. I used my DDE card, gave the CM my room key to put the charge on...she asked to see a license! Ah, I don't carry it with me when going to the food court. I told her I didn't have it on me...why did she need it? Told me that it was in case the DDE had been stolen, along with the room key! Had that happen several times at POP. Only once or twice at other spots...but I just showed my license and they were fine.
