DDE with Voucher

Can DDE be purchased with a voucher? If not, is there somewhere I can purchase it on site after my AP is activated?

You can purchase the DDE with an AP voucher.

Yep, I just purchased my new DDE card on Wednesday with my voucher that I got at the Disney Store.

Is the DDE card good for 1 year from when you purchase it?

How long does it take to get?

(We're getting APs for our December trip and we'll probably take a November trip next year, so I'm hoping I can get all my trips in on the DDE)

Yes, it's good for one year. I think it took a few weeks to get it in the mail, but according to All Ears, you could do this:

MEMBERSHIP AND CARD INFORMATION: Call Disney's Dining Experience office at (407) 566-5858, Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Membership is not available on property. Membership is only available by mail or phone.

BY MAIL: Disney's Dining Experience, Post Office Box 10000, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830

BY PHONE: (407) 566-5858.

NOTE: Allow several weeks for processing. If you will visit Walt Disney World before you receive your membership card, you can arrange to pick up a letter of authorization from a Guest Relations office. You will need to show a photo I.D. to pick up this letter.

That should ensure that you can use the letter on you first trip and you'll have the still-valid card for the second. HTH!

Glad to hear that - I'm planning to get my voucher from TDS then order a DDE card.

If you order after the 7th of a given month the voucher will be good for the next full 12 months (actually 12 months and 3 weeks). If you are going to activate your AP in December, call for your DDE on November 8th. Then they will both expire Nov 30th of next year.

I faxed my order in. Lesson learned: where it asks for AP #, write all the info that's on the back of the card and that it is a voucher. I am not sure what info is needed, but apparently most of it is.
