DDE/Tables in Wonderland - new card??

Hey y'all -

Quick question...we purchased a DDE card in May and are returning to WDW in January. Will we need to trade in the DDE card for a Tables card OR can we just use our DDE card?

The way I understood the email, is we keep the card we have and when it expires and we purchase a new one then it will be changed. We got ours in May ......used it again last week and will go again in April........I do love this card....
