My Dh and I have the DDE. We're a family of 5. In Oct we're going with my entire family (16 people). At sit down meals, I know they'll take the discount off of a total of 10 meals....we're 8 adults and 8 kids. Will they take the discount off of 8 adults and 2 kids for us?

How does this work for counter service? If DH and I both have cards and go through the line with other family members, do we just put everything on one order and then sort out who owes what later? Also, can DH go through with some members of the family and then can I go through? For example....can my DH (at all star food court) go through and pay with himself, my son, my sister, her DH and their 3 kids and THEN, can I go through (with my card) and pay for myself, our 2 DD's, my brother, his DW and their 2 kids?

I don't want to try and sneak extra out of the system but I do want to help my siblings out in whatever way the DDE allows...

Also...We're trying to figure out what our bill will come to in advace. What is the tax rate for meals in Disney/Fl?

You'll want to check the list of restaurants--I don't think counter service is included (at least, it wasn't in March, though these things have a way of changing)!

The food court at All Star Movies is on the list.

Hi we had a group of 10 people and one DDE (my hubby and I) It really was 2 groups of 5 so what we did is one meal we paid, one they did. Most places had no problem with this. The one place they questioned it was 1900 PF when my friends paid. They had us sign the bill too as proff of the DDE. (so we didn't just "give" our card to someone else.)

Some places they even slpit the bill for us (if we were seated at 2 different tables, but together.)

I would ask weather or not you can pay half the bill with your card and DH with the other half. Worth a try.

Any place there is sit down resturants (such as Deluxe and Mod resorts.) then it is not accept at the counter service. AK acepts it, but then you can't do the meal deals there (meal, snack and drink for $11, kids for 6). You can use it at the meal court at Value resorts, and I don't see any reason your hubby and you can't get it in 2 orders.

You might want to consider someone else in your group getting one too, it could help. It pays for itself very quickly. (unless you are the only ones with an AP or FLA residents.)

As far as splitting it out, in many of the restaurants you get a full detailed receipt. I would usually pay and then I would always do the calculations after the fact and let BIL know how much he owed me. This is true of many restaurants now, both in the world and out. I find it makes it alot easier to have one person pay and then do the splitting later. In our case, it works OK for the servers too, since I always tip at least 20% (which is allocated just like everything else.

Where can I find the List?
