My sister and BIL from Tampa will be joining us in March. I was thinking of having them get a DDE card. If they leave early on the last day, would I be able to use the card for a discount at a later meal? Just wondering...no flames please.

How does the card work? Is it like a C.C? Do you have to show ID every time you use it? TIA

By the rules, no, you wouldn't be able to use the card. It's supposed to be for the cardholder only. In reality, you might be able to get away with it. I've never been asked for I.D., but you never know when they might do so. Also, I wouldn't try to pay with a credit card that had a different name on it than the DDE card.

It doesn't work like a credit card - you just show it, they apply the discount, and you pay whatever normal way you want to (cash or credit card).

Now, whether or not this is a good idea is another question. No flames, just wondering if it's worth the embarassment you'd be risking if you were asked to show I.D.
