My wife and I are FL residents. If I purchase the DDE card for myself for $85.00 does my wife or anybody else at the table have to purchase a 2nd card or does my card apply to the entire check?

Your card should apply to the entire check ( unless it is split)
Also The card holder needs to be present to get the discount.
Example: If your wife went to eat at chef mickeys and you were not there and she showed your card. She may or may not get the discount.

Also the cost is less if you are an annual passholder.

Thanks for the response

$85.00 is the FL resident cost , $65.00 for AP I read.

By the way, the cardholder really does need to be at the meal. We have had servers ask for ID of some sort to make sure that the DDE card really was ours before appyling the discount!

(Just good info to know about if you are like us and dont always carry a wallet on us at WDW since we can charge everything to the room!)

We were asked for ID at Chefs de France, and Fort Wilderness Trail's End. The DDe works well for us, and when we get together with friends, we are able to use it for our group. Yes the cardholder must be at the table to get the discount.
