We are considering staying at a vacation home instead of onsite and noticed that the DDE is only for passholders. Can my DH just be the passholder to do this? It would be twice as much for MYW tickets to be traded up for our whole crew.

Yes. DDE cardholders can have several guests. (I can't remember if its 8 or 10)

Oh - good news! :) I thought that was the case last time, but it's been a few years.

Also - if I want to buy an annual pass, what is the latest possible time I can upgrade a MYW ticket? Up until the last ticket is used or beyond that?

A MYW ticket may be modified and/or upgraded up until 14 days from date of first use. This applies (1) even if all entitlements have been used, and (b) even if the no expire option has been purchased. Note, if the first use was any time on a Sunday, the upgrade period ends at 11:59:59pm on the second Saturday following.

Yes, your hubby can be the annual passhoder and get the DDE card.

He does have to be with you for every meal in order to get the discount.

One more question.

I'm considering getting MYW tickets for the rest of the crew at AAA. The price is more than Undercover Tourist through Mousesavers, but less than the Disney Site. However, we would have to buy a AAA membership, which would bring the price up over the other two options unless there is some other perk to having AAA that I haven't considered.

We would love to have Diamond Parking - but is that the only perk? We'll also have the DDE, which we will use for resort valet parking at restaurants, of course.

Oh - speaking of that, too - I know it's a no no to park your car and eat at a resort then take transportation on to the parks, leaving your car behind. Does the same apply to valet parking?

No problem! I don't dare take six kids to a dinner without an extra set of hands :scared1: :cutie:
