DDE parking at Epcot?

Last time we visited Epcot, I noticed parking close to the entrance labeled "AAA/DDE". Are those parking places for Disney Dining Experience cardholders who are dining at the park? Does anyone have experience using these parking spaces?

I know DDE holders get free valet parking at the restaurants where they are dining, but I hadn't heard of a special area at Epcot.
Anyone else?

Maybe this is something new for 2007. I would be curious to find this out too as we often just go over to eat in the evenings.

I think it's been there for a while BUT my understanding from the DDE people is that it's only good after 5 PM. (I think that at Epcot you can get your parking ticket paid if you arrive after 5 and have a receipt from dinner, but that may have changed)

Anyway, if you arrive at Epcot after 5 I don't think the DDE spots will do you much good. I can generally just drive up front and find a good parking space then.

The tram doesn't run where the DDE spaces are. It is more walking so if you prefer the tram don't use the DDE spaces. There may be some available but lots of other folks seem to park in that area.
