Just read a release that says they are changing the Disney Dining Experience to Tables in Wonderland. Sounds like exactly the same thing, just a different name. I'm guessing they're doing this because it is easy for some to confuse the DDE with the DDP!

Anyway, I am a DDE member. I assume I won't have to change anything or get a new card before I use it. I really need to know since my trip is in 2 1/2 weeks!

"Tables in Wonderland" ??? Can't see myself asking for that. I guess DW will be booking adr's in future.:cool1:

The email I got said we don't have to do anything, and the card we already have will work as it always has, but when we renew we will get the new card with the new (somewhat silly) name.

Strange name, but as long as I keep getting my discount I dont care what they call it

I'm going to move this over to our Disney Dining Plan board for you. I'm sure you'll find everything you need to know about it over there.

The only reason you'd need to specify that you are using TIW when you book a reservation is if you are booking one that has to be paid in full at booking (CRT or a dinner show). You'd have to mention the discount so they can get the discounted amount returned to you.

You would not have to mention TIW when you make any other reservation. Unless you're prepaying, you don't have to say anything about TIW until you pay the check. TIW is not a dining plan. In fact, we move TIW questions from the Dining Plan board to the main restaurant board, which is what I am doing with this one.
