DDE- need info

Where can I find info on the card? Sounds like it might be worth it, as I am an AP, and cant use the package with dining plan.
does the card expire in a year? where do I buy it. at disney or before I leave home? Is it good everywhere, and can I get the discounts on cocktails?
any info would be appreciated

You can find information at the Disney AP Site. It is good for one year from the date of purchase. It costs $60.

It's good most everywhere and does cover alcohol as well. We saved several hundred dollars with just one use!!

We love our card. It is good at most Table Service places and lasts for a year from the card issue month. We can get it to pay for itself within three months usually.

I have the DDE... they sent me a renewal which I promptly filled out.. then they started to call me on the phone. They cannot renew the card early....seems you have to wait till just a month or so before it expires and then try to renew. Of course, who knew, and they sent me the renewal so I thought it was the time to do so..

What I am saying is it is well worth the money to renew, I tried to renew but will have to wait.. I also think there is a telephone number you can call...407-566-5858 (Mon-Fri, 9:00am to 6:00pm EST)

I just thought that I would add that depending on when you order, you can get the card for 13 months instead of 12.

For instance, I will be ordering my DDE card today, March 6th, but it will not expire until April 30, 2007. If I would have ordered it on Friday, March 3rd, it would have expired on March 31, 2007. That extra month could come in handy depending on how you use it.
