We just went there for dinner two weeks ago. When we called for our ressie, which was only a couple of weeks in advance the CM told us that she could not credit us the DDE over the phone. This seems unclear as I have head of other people being able to. Anyway, we told our server and at the end of the meal, after seeing the card, he did not credit our account, but gave us a "credit" card for the amount we saved using our DDE card. This can be used anywhere on property and we used ours pretty quick for some purchase we made. This is another case in which it depends what CM you talk to. My husband DID call back to see if they would credit our account BEFORE we left for WDW, but even that CM said no it couldn't be done, have to do it on the night of the dinner.
