I got the ap discount on the rooms so I can't get the dining plan..now I read about the disney dining experience and wondered if it is as good an idea as it seems? Plus I have read different discounts...I read on allears that the discount is 20% and up to ten guests..I read on mousesavers ( I think) that it's 10% discount and three guests. How can they give you this discount card for only I think $50 for an ap holder? It seems too good to be true I guess..well I would appreciate any thoughts or opinions..thanks

It's a straight 20% discount on a huge variety and number of dining establishments. And since we stay at ASMo and they don't have a sit-down, all our purchases at the food court are covered as well. I'd be surprised if we didn't save $500+ for our 11 days this summer. And remember it's good for cocktails too. It's a GREAT DEAL for AP holders.

There is a change for the posted restaurants for 2006, CRT will not accept the DDE as of Feb 1, 2006. The restaurant "format" is changing to a pre-paid meal at time of ressie...it will include a photo pkg. We never do the Castle anyway, but I know a LOT of families do.

Saved at least $75 on Nov. trip which was my first using DDE. We had a group of 6 and it was great that DDE 20% discount also included alcohol. I still have 11 months left til DDE expires and have already recouped cost so I am thrilled with it and look forward to more dining savings during 2006 trips!

IT does seem too good to be true--but it is true. We saved over $200 in just one trip, and we have two more trips set before the card expires!!!
