DDE card

I paid for the DDE card in the middle of February and I got my email confirmation almost immediately. I used the letter to get the discount during our EAster trip. But I have not yet received my card. Has anyone else waited this long for the card? It's now been about 6 weeks since I ordered it. By the way, it was an excellent investment. We were a group of eleven and the waiters always applied the discount to the entire check.

I ordered mine late January and got it mid March, so yeah...it took about 7 weeks. You usually get it around 10 days after your card has been charged.

I ordered mine a few weeks ago and was expecting the charge to go through by now. I put it on my debit card, and I wish they'd just go ahead and charge it finally so I can get the funds out of my account, LOL.

I know. It was a real pain trying to make sure the money was always there (I used my debit as well). I was so happy when I finally saw it deducted.

hmmm..you may want to check into that. I called Feb 22 and was charged March 28th. I received my email within 10 minutes of ordering and they expected the actual card 10-21 days from being charged.

I ordered the DDE card Jan 24 and received the confirmation letter Jan 25, as of yesterday I had not received the card in the mail so I called Disney Dining. DD looked up my record and stated that they did not process the credit card and now the card expiration date has come and gone. I ended up having to rebook DDE and get a new confirmation letter as I am going to WDW next week. I was told that it would be a minimum of seven weeks before I received a card in the mail.
I would suggest calling Disney Dining and inquiring about any card not received: don't end up like me having to rebook because of a Disney delay.
Note: I was informed by Disney Dining that it takes them two weeks before they process the credit card for billing.

I ordered mine in the beginning of January and didn't get mine until mid to late March. It was debited from my account about 7-10 days before I received it. So once the charge hits your credit card you can know to expect it in about a week.

my wife called, thats how she go the letter, they told us the card was already charged and processed on march 18th, but according to my bank it hasnt been. they emailed my wife the letter incase we dont get the cards in time(and my bank still shows no charge on the card), but they sent us the email to use incase.

Just a quick note on the DDE.

I ordered mine last week and got the confirmation letter by email. I will probably have the actual card before my holiday in June but if not I need to ask for another confirmation letter because the letter states:
"This letter is valid through May 31, 2005."

So just a heads up for others who won't have the actual card before your trip. Be sure to check the wording on the letter and make sure the date is not before your holiday!

They charged our visa on the 22nd of March and we still do not have it. So today I will call and find out whats up and also to get a new date for expiration on an email, just incase we do not get our card before next weekend.

Rats, Pumba - I'm leaving WDW on the 16th so will just miss you! I ordered my DDE card on Feb. 28th and it was charged to my VISA on March 31st. I'm hoping to get it on or before April 12th, because I leave on the 13th.

I think one year we had alot of encounters ........now will have to wait another year or so........Don't forget to look for your expiration date on your email so you can have them re issue another one to you asap....
