DDE Card

I am new to DVC and i wanted to know what the DDE card is that ppl are talking about when they talk about buying and annuel pass. Thanks so much for ur help

The DDE is the Disney Dining Experience Card, it is available to Annual Passholders for $65. It is good for a 20% discount at virtually all Disney operated table service restaurants, lounges (yes, good on alcoholic beverages) and at counter service at AK and value resorts.

The DDE is a very nice perk available to Florida residents or AP holders. It really has nothing to do with DVC although the nice AP discount DVCers receive make it even sweeter.

Anyway, it offers a 20% discount off most full service restaurants and lounges at WDW. Swan/Dolphin restaurants/lounges and several DTD restaurants do not participate.

It is also good at counter service restaurants in AK and in those resorts that do not have full service restaurants...ie Pop. the various All Stars and POFQ.

You can read about it here - http://allearsnet.com/din/dde.htm. It's a tremendous deal if you do a lot of sit down restaurants. The DVC discount is nice, but 20% is even better! I just got a new one, and it took about 3 weeks to get my new card.
