DDE card took over 8 weeks to arrive

I used my email for the DDE but wondered when my card would arrive. It was postmarked on the day we left, which was 8 weeks to the day that I ordered it. Jeez!

I thought that I read on this board that you could go to guest relations at Epcot and pick up a card. They said no, I could just get a duplicate letter.

It is just a letter that you pick up at Epcot. We just ordered ours less than a week ago and already have the letter in the mail. Very fast service! Can't wait to use it

Yes they are taking longer than people expect. Ours took 10 weeks to come, but we were able to use our e-mail letter with no problem on our last trip.

Yes, we also received our letter promptly, but it would be nice to have the cards.

Question: Do you automatically get a second card or do you have to request one. I'd like my husband to have one.

When I called and ordered mine last week, the CM asked if I had a Spouse or SO- she took his information (name and B-day) and said we would receive 2 cards and a letter for each of us on Saturday when we pick them up at Epcot.

I ordered mine almost 2 months ago, my trip has come and gone and still no card.

I took the letter with me, shrunk it down on a photocopy machine to the size where it folded neatly over my park pass, yet was large enough for the server to read. I had no problems whatsoever.

I also ordered mine quite awhile ago and have still not recieved it. They charged my credit card at the end of April and here it is June and still no card. I have been twice using only the letter and it worked fine. We went to the GS counter at Epcot to pick it up. They only gave us one letter with both my and DH's name on it. The problem I'm having is that my letter expires next week. I hope we get our cards before we decide to go again.
