DDE Card Question

My parents have a home in FL so they can purchase the DDE card.

Would I be able to use their card if they don't come with us on our upcoming trip?

If the card has to be in my name, what do you have do to show residency? Just the mailing address?

I was thinking about ordering it in my name and sending it to my parents home, is that doable?

When ordering the card you have to give either a Florida Driver's License (or ID) Number or an Annual Pass Number.

However, when the card is ordered you actually get two cards. If you father orders it, he can have his name on one and yours on the other.

Do you have to show your driver's liscense when you go to use it (at each restaurant)?

No, but you could be asked to show a picture ID. I am local and have used DDE for over a year and a half and have never been asked for ID.
