Is the DDE good even after your AP has expired?

Yes it is. To order or renew you must either be a Florida Resident or an Annual Passholder (or both). However, once you have the card it is valid until its expiration date.

Is there any particular reason why the don't allow the dining plan for AP holders who stay on site? I know the DDE card exists and I will use it. I was just wondering what the rationale behind not letting them use it.

Is it necessary to present a current AP with the DDE card when you go to pay?

MY Dh and i have never been asked to produce AP for use with dde.
