Considering DDE card. Going with extended family and wondering if you can split a check and get DDE discount applied to both. If its just us and mom and dad, thats easy to pay on one check and one owes the other. But when the whole family (10 total) gets together for a meal, we generally ask for two checks.

Anyone experience this yet?

thanks

Right on the rule page it says discount can only be applied to one check.

Just have the other person pay you cash.

Being from a large family myself (5 brothers, 4 sisters, 1 brother-in-law, mom and dad) we get split up all the time! Last time we were there, on many different occasions, they let me use the DDE on different checks. It does say in the rules that they will only honor one check, but some restaurants do not accomodate tables of 10, Beaches and Cream for example.
I guess unless you had a real pain in the cooly CM you should not have a problem. I didn't! Good Luck

One idea we're going to try when we go mid-August with two other couples...charge the meals back to the room. They don't usually charge you credit card until then end, so we'll save all the receipts and then, the other two couples will each go pay their share the night before we check-out. Hopefully it will work out as simple as it sounds!

We have friends in Florida that we get together with everytime we go to Disney World. Everytime we eat a restaurant, using their dining card, we get the bill split -- them and us. It has never been a problem and we have eaten in lots and lots of Disney restaurants.
