DDE and Dining plan

We have a DDE card, but we were thinking about doing the dining plan.

Here's a question--

If we use the dining plan, can we use the DDE card for our wine/drinks and our kids meals (if purchasing our kids meals)?

Simple answer is yes. We had the dining plan last October and used the DDE card for drinks. We did have to tell a couple of waiters that yes we could do this as they were going to bring us a separate bill for the drinks anyway.

Seems like the best deal, especially since we have our DDE card as well.
