DDE and credit card payment

I just ordered my AP holder DDE card today! The only problem was that I don't own a credit card, so my sister let me use hers. They didn't ask for the name on the credit card, just the type of card and the number. We have the same last name, and she authorized me to use her card. But now I am starting to worry. Since the credit card is not in my name, but the annual pass is, will it go through? I think you can use anyone's credit card as long as they authorize it, am I correct?

You shouldn't have a problem as long as the AP is in your name.

If they put your name as the name on the credit card and that doesn't match when the credit card merchant processes the information, the payment might be declined.

If there was a problem, would they just call me to let me know that my credit card was declined? Because I am already cutting it close in terms of getting the card in time for my trip and I can't afford to have any delays. I should probably just call them when they open in the morning, it is just that it takes so long to get through to a person when you call the DDE number!

Did they tell you what the expiration date will be? I was thinking of ordering mine soon, too.

Yes, yooperfan, it will be good through the end of January 2007. On the recording when you dial the number it tells you the card is valid for one year from the date of purchase which would be December 5th, 2007, but the CM assured me it will be good through the end of January. I am just hoping she was right!
