Ugh. My brother and his family came into town this past weekend for a visit, and they must have brought something with them because now we're all down for the count with the flu. No better way to spend the holidays!

Morning Champions - apparently "Nazi Hunters" on the Discovery Channel are holding auditions this week - anyone know of any good candidates?

Morning, Fellas! Hope all are well. Finally on the downhill slide to the weekend. Having a good week, so nothing new there. We're due to get a no'easter tomorrow with wind gusts of up to 60 mph, more like very early tomorrow morning, either way it's happening while I'll be at work, which suits me (hate the idea of a tree falling through a roof while I'm in the house, which has happened before). You know it's going to be bad when the local electric company sends out text messages to everyone telling them to expect power outages.

We're due to get a no'easter tomorrow with wind gusts of up to 60 mph, more like very early tomorrow morning, either way it's happening while I'll be at work, which suits me (hate the idea of a tree falling through a roof while I'm in the house, which has happened before). You know it's going to be bad when the local electric company sends out text messages to everyone telling them to expect power outages.

We’re getting a storm line though here today. Raining right now and supposed to be in the 40s all afternoon, but then turn to snow/ice and get down to -5 by tomorrow morning. They’re all over the place on snowfall totals but saying 55 mph winds so blizzard conditions if we get enough. I hope we can maintain power because my generator is only big enough to plug some space heaters into and that isn’t going to be adequate in these temps. I know it’s cold everywhere this weekend, even Disney World, but I hope everyone stays safe!!!

We’re getting a storm line though here today. Raining right now and supposed to be in the 40s all afternoon, but then turn to snow/ice and get down to -5 by tomorrow morning. They’re all over the place on snowfall totals but saying 55 mph winds so blizzard conditions if we get enough.

We've been on high alert for the storm as well. Could get a flash-freeze tomorrow, with temperatures dropping so fast the roads ice up almost instantly. And the high winds could do some serious damage as well. Could be a long weekend!

I don't think we're supposed to get snow, but the sudden drop in temps and high winds will make things interesting.
