Haven't seen that in about 800 years.
This is a truism. It's never too early for Dancer and Prancer.

Ooo. My kids get a flea in their ear for calling him Donner...... even Blitzen is pushing their luck....It's too early in the season for Donner and Blitzen.
Um... you lost meOoo. My kids get a flea in their ear for calling him Donner...... even Blitzen is pushing their luck....
"Donner"'s name is Dunder or Donder in the poems. My kids find it really funny when I correct them, as I can't not bite, so they say it deliberately. And Blitzens name is actually Blixem. He's only known as Donner because Johnny Marks sang it wrong in the song.Um... you lost me
I wish you luck. Let me know if they have those little tasting stations set up.
Whoa... what a rabbit hole you sent me on. I was pretty confused to learn of Donder and Blixem."Donner"'s name is Dunder or Donder in the poems. Wow, did not expect to send you on a massive fact search on that one. Sorry buddy. I knew about the Old Dutch/German Crossover. Its one of my favourite questions to ask the kids at this time of year - Name all of Santas reindeer, and the Curly Haired Ninja always says Donner and Blitzen with an evil smile on her face. And she also starts with Rudolph. Which is fair enough.Whoa... what a rabbit hole you sent me on. I was pretty confused to learn of Donder and Blixem.
Spent a while checking out various web sites.

But quality work there.
Morning all. Despite multiple rejections, I'm still job seeking. I guess it's kinda like dating - ask enough and hopefully someone is dumb enough or drunk enough to say yes.![]()
I have an interview in Indiana on Tuesday for a therapist job with an LLC. In our phone interview yesterday, she said they were growing too fast to keep up with demand, an unintended consequence of the COVID lockdowns. I don't know how the out of state licensure laws work, so something for me to review today. It may be a reciprocating thing, transcripts, and/or test. But, I'm guessing they know, otherwise, why waste the interview time. Best thing is that since it is across the river, it can't be denied by the retirement board.
Sorry to hear it and prayers for you. Back to our bulletproof post, I was always told hard work gets you ahead in life. Painfully, I learned that wasn't true, at least in my industry. Hard work gets you more work. It's about relationships and luck.
That's just not a manager thing, that's a company thing. With profits being as high as they've been, and with such a low tax rate these past few years, nothing shows loyalty better than giving employees a raise or a bonus. I'm not smart enough to understand it, but I guess a revolving door or hiring people is more cost effective than rewarding people who stay.
Discretionary spending is lower now with only my retirement check. So, I managed only a bottle of Maker's Mark to get me thru the week. I still have enough cigars, but I can only smoke them outside, and it is way too cold for me.
Afternoon from a rainy Westfield. Dd and I just got back from her swimming lessons and lunch. We are now going to make a Zebra cake with chocolate cream cheese frosting for DW birthday tomorrow.
Have a great weekend.
Evening All,
Been a long night and day, had a small taste of what you dealt with last week Rob. Huge wind and rain storm knocked out our power last night around 11:30 and stayed out until about 2:30 this afternoon. House got a bit chilly but we were lucky we only had to deal with it for less than a day. Second time this week that happened but the other day was a work day so it was easier to deal with.
They did have the little stations but they weren't for things you would want to taste. Unless you are one of those crazy kids who is in to Tide Pods.
Now thats going too far......Flossie and Glossie, Racer and Pacer, Fearless and Peerless, Ready and Steady, Feckless and Speckless.
Morning, gents.
One and a half hours to go on the shift. Quiet night. Don't mind that one bit.
Whoa... what a rabbit hole you sent me on. I was pretty confused to learn of Donder and Blixem.

Good morning!
The Mandalorian is an awesome show. That's all I got for you.
I've just got through the first season.Good morning!

We've cut down extra spending as well. I'm going to look into unemployment, which I should have something left from the law firm I was let go from recently, because I never collected, so until I find something extra spending is out. This means that Christmas is going to be pretty lean this year.
Good luck Norm, good to hear the retirement board can't veto this job.
