I’m not mentally prepared for this sh!t yet.

This after two pleasantly warm (for mid-November up here) days. Hopefully it doesn’t amount to much. Temp is flirting with the freezing mark so it may or may not turn to rain later.

@pkondz I hope your day goes better.

Been back at work the past couple days.
I got nothing else.

And we are back in lockdown. Well, HS students are in lockdown, but K-8 students continue for another week. All staff & students had been wearing masks & on the A/B attendance schedule. I haven't found the science article yet on while freshman are at risk from the virus but 8th graders aren't. :rolleyes1

While the car in the driveway with the engine running, right?

Exactly. That's the first place they will look. :lmao:

What?
Doesn't everybody maintain detailed spreadsheets listing all of the vessels and remnants of such throughout the world that are open to the public?

I always liked boats or ships or whatever they are called. Or, maybe it's just being on or near the water.

A co-worker in a different department suddenly passed away from a heart attack the night before, so I spent all afternoon and all my lunch break calling everyone in the department to offer condolences and to check in on them. Bit draining sharing emotional times with 10 people, one at a time. Then having to follow up with another one on a different matter, and then coming back from my break and dealing with another person on another matter. phew.
And in the middle of that, dealing with someone giving me conflicting guidelines was not appreciated.

Sorry to hear about your co-worker. Good on you to help offer consolation.

I think it's the same study that says the virus is not contagious before 10:00 PM but is contagious after 10:00 PM (or whatever arbitrary time some jurisdictions have told bars & restaurants to close....)

Morning gents
Chores day today. Always a joy.
A bit early for a Saturday, but I'm off to work today in preparation for inventory. Today I'll be heading in to prep the tickets and finish up labeling expense items.
Working on a Saturday. That’s not normally something you do, is it?
Nope. There's no way I could have remembered Templeton Peck.
Wonder how often that got said on the show.

About time you catch up with the rest of us.

Chores day. You decide. ;)

Oh! Hadn’t realized you started all ready.

Probably because you can keep the younger ones from throwing Halloween parties and becoming super spreader events. :sad2:

Thank you.

I always try to get out of those as much as possible....doesn't always work.

Not it's not, at least not anymore. When I helped in the warehouse I'd have to work the last weekend of the month as mandatory overtime, but not anymore. This is only because of inventory.

Wonder how often that got said on the show.

Not sure, but it'd be interesting to watch the show again and find out.[/QUOTE]

Morning, Gents! Well, got to work yesterday only to find out that the report that was supposed to have printed wasn't printing right, so I went out to the stockroom and did some pre-counting per my boss. I'm not sure about pre-counting because whoever counts that stockroom's only going to have to count it again. That's what he wanted. We eventually did get the tickets printed and organized, and I'll head in today along with a bunch of other guys and start the actual counting. I'm hoping to be done by 2 today, so we'll see. Have fun.

I was thinking about this, and it's gotta be what Jeff's said, the virus isn't contagious after a certain time or under a certain age. :teeth:

Wonder if it’s available anywhere.

I'm not sure, but it'd be a good show to binge watch when you're home sick.

hate having to deal the after effects of snow, but I always have loved watching it snow.
I do enjoy light fluffy snow falling softly. It can be very pretty.
I do not enjoy tiny icy flakes blowing sideways with a fierce wind. It can be like tiny BB guns shooting you in the face.
Unfortunately in these parts we get more of the latter.

About time you catch up with the rest of us
I would happily fall behind until mid December. Give me a white Christmas and then I’m over it.

think that's better than one of the last snow pictures you posted.
Ah yes, like these?

@CapeCodTenor I don’t think you were in our club at that time. The above pictures are from late January this year, a little event called “snowmageddon”, my city got 92 cm/ 36 in of snow in 24 hours. The city was overwhelmed and we were snowed in the house for 4 days, it was a full week before things got back to normal. It was the worst blizzard I ever saw and hope I never see it again.

It's a windy Sunday here, and I think colder with your posts about snow.

::yes:: :rolleyes1

For me, and I would guess for many, it's this type of arbitrary virtue signaling that keeps people questioning the decision making and/or the motives. It makes it even worse when you see the elected officials not following their own lockdown restrictions. Enjoy the inventory counting.

Morning folks.
Not much on the agenda today and I’m okay with that.

We get more of the former.

::yes::
I’ve often said I want it to snow on December 1st and then be gone on January 2nd.

Morning, Gents! Well, the weekend is over and that means back to work....or for me, the continuation of work from last week. Had a total of just under 17 hours overtime last week and am scheduled for 10 hour days Monday - Wednesday of this week, though I'm hoping that because we got so much done yesterday it won't happen, but I know I'm dreamin'. We were able to get the warehouse counted in about just under three (3) hours, which isn't bad, and then we moved on to one of the production floors. The other areas, production areas, will be counted by those who work there and know their workstations. Hopefully with all hands on deck this counting will get done fairly quickly. What really takes time is the reconciliation after. We'll see. Well, have a good day, gents, and I hope to get the opportunity to say "Hi" throughout. Oh, quick question, since I'm still learning everyone's names, which one is Randall? Someone named Randall friended me on Bookface, which is fine, but before I say yes I want to make sure it's the Randall from here and not some random Randall, :lmao: :rotfl2:,random Randall, that just sounds so funny. I'm more than happy to have you guys as friends on Bookface, just want to make sure its the genuine DisDad crew.

I'm with ya on the tiny ice flakes blowing sideways.

I remember seeing these pictures, so I'm not sure if you have posted them once before, or it was because I was lurking them, but these do look familiar. We've had snowstorms like this...not often, but we've had them. Nasty stuff those snoemageddons.

Morning All.

Having a nice weekend away with DW. We spent Friday night visiting my folks and yesterday made our way to Halifax, N.S. for a couple of days. She really needed a couple of days to get away from school so this is a nice little trip.

When I first read this, I thought it said, "Having a nice weekend away from the wife. Either I need to wake up a bit more this morning before jumping online, or I need to let the caffeine filter though the system first. Either way, I had to do a double take. :lmao: Sounds like a good weekend. Did you and the wife enjoy the weekend? Hope she enjoyed getting away.

For me, and I would guess for many, it's this type of arbitrary virtue signaling that keeps people questioning the decision making and/or the motives. It makes it even worse when you see the elected officials not following their own lockdown restrictions. Enjoy the inventory counting.

You're probably right. And yes, it makes it worse when the elected officials aren't following their own restrictions.

We can't tell you. He's the stealth like Ninja master of the tribe.
Was that OK @Cinderella's Fella ? I kept your anonymity pretty well there, I think?

Oh.
