Still employed and still working form home. So far that works well. They leave me alone and I get the work done that they need.

What a concept.

Bonus, they should have returned everyone back to their original salaries. I'll check the accounts today to see if that's actually so.

Had a lovely 5am wake up call from the cat.
Heard her meowing and howling downstairs, followed by sounds of her running like a banshee through the living room.
Came downstairs to discover she had diarrhea and apparently did not like what it had done to her nether regions, so proceeded to scatter her backside all over the house.
The living room looked like she was trying to redesign the track layout for Big Thunder Mountain.

Is it Friday yet?

Oh good, it is.

Is 10:00am too early to start drinking?

In better news, had that meeting about potential work yesterday.
I should get at least a week around the end of June.
Bank account will be a little happier, better than nothing at least.
Part of me was enjoying the extended time off though.

Congratulations to her. Part of the job of being a dad is to get them ready for life. I see it as a success when our children are ready to leave and make it on their own.

I will raise an old fashioned later this afternoon / early evening. Had a couple last night as a matter of fact. As an old fashioned is on the sweet side and alternative might be a Manhattan.

Hey, Gents! Doing a quick check in, I'll try and respond to some of the posts where I was quoted as I get time. Been kind of slow this week, so I've taken the opportunity to look for work when I've had nothing to do, with full permission from my stockroom lead. I know, that's pretty cool, right?! There's been times when he's said, "Look, I've got nothing for you to do, so why don't you look for work." I'm of the belief that I won't have a job at the end of the month, so I've racheted up the job hunting. My DD comes up to me last night wanting to play and I had to turn her down because I was looking for work. She then went to my DW and said, "Mommy? Why won't people give daddy a job so we can play again?" Broke my heart. Well, gotta run, gents. Have a good day.

1. Yes please! Actually, the pineapple upside down cake with dole whip is my favorite, but any way to get a dole whip is a good way.

4. Tough one. My favorite part about speedway is it's one of the few originals left. On the other hand, the fumes stink (literally). Electric would be good. As for CoP, part of its charm for me is laughing at how outdated it is, so updating...hmmm.
5. Depends on if I'm in MK or HS. Wow, another tough one. CBJ is classic. VotLM has better graphics/effects. Seats are nicer in VotLM, so I guess that's the tie breaker. And Ariel is better looking too (for @pkondz )
