DIS Dads DDC XXXIV: The Original Home Of The DISDads!!!

Dads of the DIS talk about life, bacon, Disney, bacon, kids, bacon, cars, bacon, family life, and lots of other fun stuff! And beer. And bacon.
Top O the Mornin Dads and very happy Friday Eve! "If you focus on what you left behind, you will never be able to see what lies ahead." -- Gusteau (Ratatouille)
Yet another great freebie on this trip, Christopher Robin pins:yay:. Will be on the road WDW in about :car:18hrs
Safe travels and enjoy your trip! Say hi to the Mouse for me and let him know I'll be back in 6 weeks, but who's counting?
That wouldn't be a bad thing. With all the refurbs at Epcot, the Frozen Maelstrom is now my favorite ride. I sing "Let it Go" as happily and loudly as possible while floating backwards away from Elsa.
:rotfl2:I was picturing and hearing that in mind - too funny and thanks for the morning laugh.

I have found the top floors to be hotter than the lower floors...
Hmmm....DW and I were thinking of top floor so it's quieter, presumably with nobody running past the room.
That's one problem we found with Art of Animation, our ground level suite was in Nemo on the side with the big pool. Lots of screaming kids and people running by the room all day and sometimes night.
But good point about heat.

If you do get crowds, we found that the best approach was to go early at park opening, get as many rides in before lunch as possible, and then spend the afternoon seeking air-conditioning and watching more of the shows.
Yep, that's my plan. I have park hoppers, so I hope to rope drop one park, then get back for pool time in the afternoon, and then back to a different park in the evening (most of my FP are booked for the 2nd park)

Thanks. My family is quite proud of my singing there as well. The first time we were able to go on the Frozen Maelstrom refurb, because i wasn't waiting 3 hours for standby, the ride had closed for a malfunction, everyone left, we walked by just as the front doors opened. I chugged whatever # alcohol beverage in my hand, and we were first family on for that afternoon. It was an enjoyable ride, and I guess Elsa moved me to sing. Now, it's just expected. :lmao:
