Hey Guys...it was a busy week so I was awol...I'll get caught up eventually.

Going to SC to see DS this weekend, it'll be nice to get away for a short break, might even hit the beach tomorrow (then relax on it some as well, kinda need to make up for the violence of the blow).

Great news for us, DW has a new job for the fall. Just about six weeks of putting up with her current toxic work environment to go. Much less stress to come, so it's a huge blessing for us.

And...the countdown is now at 26 days until we are at POFQ!!

off to watch DS play in the volleyball regionals, top two teams move on to the high school provincial championship in two weeks. Going to be tough to get through as the top three teams in the Province are all in this region.

Well, looks like Maleficent tried to have an impromptu marshmallow roast at Magic Kingdom yesterday. Guess I won't be seeing the dragon float in the parade this summer. Looks like it will take a while to fix that, if they have it back at all. My guess is they will, but likely with a simple smoke effect. I don't think they let themselves get burned twice.

DS had his first lesson in rewards for saving and making money, he wanted a Nintendo Switch (don't ask) so we went round toys that he had grown out of from Xmas and Birthdays past, he took photos with me and we stuck them on ebay. He sold his last bit that took him over to the top, so he came out of the game shop like a boss with his new console in his hand. He also got bumped up a grade in his tennis, and he got "Pupil of the week" so all in all, he's had a good one. I might stick his hand in warm water when he's asleep so he wets himself and bring him down a peg or two. You have to keep them on their toes.

Off to a 60th do for some of my Mum's friends that we really don't want to go to, but it was kind of them to invite us, and it will make the old dear happy.

I can't find out if it is still going on in Paris. It's a shame if they get rid, it is pretty cool.

The Rumours board reports that the fire effect on the Disneyland Paris dragon and Incredibles Jack-Jack float were both turned off today. I guess any fire effects will be off at least until they figure out what happened.
