DIS Dads DDC XXXIV: The Original Home Of The DISDads!!!

Dads of the DIS talk about life, bacon, Disney, bacon, kids, bacon, cars, bacon, family life, and lots of other fun stuff! And beer. And bacon.
Hello gents, just trying to get through the next couple of days.
Morning boys from a drizzly London. Last jobs done, packed for everyone except Lady K. Check in later. T-1.

Have a good Tuesday, may your Citrus be Swirly.
Safe travels and enjoy your trip sir.

Happy Tuesday. Another HS tennis rainout last night, but a match scheduled for tonight in the 20 mph winds. Who knows what will happen.

Terrific acting. It's just like the scene in the movie.

Hello gents, just trying to get through the next couple of days.
.

That sounds like a good plan.

Well, this was a fun morning. I got to have an echo-cardiogram and stress test. Joy! Nurse told me I could look out the window while on the treadmill and pretend I was walking to one of the shops. I told her I was heading straight to the burger joint outside after they were done checking my heart. Thankfully, she had a sense of humor.

I've had that done, it is more pleasant than a catheterization. Hoping you get a good result.

Nice to burn some calories before the onslaught of the Easter chocolate. All the best fella.
Safe travels and enjoy your trip sir
Cheers Mike, you're on call it duty on Thursday. I just want to say good luck. We are all counting on you.
Like that do ya? I have a few similar to that. Bit of a running gag on my TRs
I do. I really really do. If I could make the effort, I would read your TRs, but i have enough trouble keeping up in here.

Right, that's it, the London bureau has shut up shop and turned the light out for a couple of weeks. All the best guys, and have a great Easter.
I have my napkin tied round my neck, and there better be a whole load of slow cooked piggy when I get out there.

London out.

Afternoon guys, nothing much to report down here. Bit windy and it blew a couple of the patio chairs across the yard.

You are dead to me right now. ;)

CJ wanted Kentucky to lose as well. Inconceivable.

Followed Duke for years and Kentucky, well, they are Kentucky.

Stay safe and enjoy.

Damn it. I always miss those giveaways... the world was good. unchanged since DDCC in January, which was reassuring. :)

Well that is good news. Wasn't sure after the blow out in January. Now we only need to worry about how the World held up after you and Adam blew through there.

No. This is:

Well done.

I told her I was heading straight to the burger joint outside after they were done checking my heart. Thankfully, she had a sense of humor.

Lack of a sense of humor is why I changed doctors this year. She was a dead fish.

I live with 3 women. Two of them teens.

I don’t need a stress test. Home is a stress test.

Safe travels my friend. Maybe they will have that Brexit thing figured out by the time you get back.

Well, the wind stopped long enough for it to rain. No HS tennis tonight.

I am not amused.

Excellent point. It could always be worse.

Nice to burn some calories before the onslaught of the Easter chocolate. All the best fella.

Thanks! All is well. As far as I know.

Lack of a sense of humor is why I changed doctors this year. She was a dead fish.

Bedside manner is pretty darn important.

All the best for good test results.

Thank you, sir!

I am indeed alive. Haven't heard the official results yet. I'm assuming that if something was terribly wrong, they wouldn't have let me leave the building.

This came about because I had an episode of a-fib (atrial fibrillation) a couple of weeks ago. My heart just started racing and beating irregularly for no apparent reason. I went to the ER because I had no idea what was going on and they got me back in rhythm. Apparently it's not life-threatening. But now I have to see a cardiologist and get all sorts of tests. So far, so good.

In addition to the catheterization last April, I had a cardiac ablation in July. It was to treat supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) instead of a-fib, but can also be a treatment for a-fib. It's scary to think about, but tends to have low complications or problems. Hopefully you'll get some answers soon.

Top O the Mornin Dads! More flash flood stuff around here for the next couple of days. DS will be home tomorrow afternoon for the holiday weekend which will be nice. Have a good one and at least we are now over the half way point of the short work week.

Morning Guys,

Took the morning off to take DW to the dentist. She had a wisdom tooth pulled so I guess I am the smart one now. ;)

3 hour meeting this afternoon so that should be fun.

Yuck! We had a freezing rain warning but so far it has just been rain.
