My God. What is happening to our world? My deepest condolences to the family and friends of the victims. Thoughts and prayers for all my American friends who are undoubtedly touched by the events in Las Vegas.

Working my odd hours this week and didn't see this until you said something.
This is just horrific.

While I was up this am I saw it on Twitter just after it happened. Turned on the news and was horrified. My heart goes out to the killed and injured and their families.

Kinda hard to be enthusiastic this morning. My heart goes out to all those affected by the tragic event in Las Vegas. Just a gutless, senseless and horrific act. Hug your family today guys.

Some good news today for me. This morning about 5 empty dump trucks showed up in the neighborhood to remove debris. There are two piles where we put the crap and they are now both gone.

It was about 4 feet high and ran the length of the front yard. The larger one was on the side of the house. Grass took a beating but that will grow back. Life is getting back to normal. Wish I could say the same about Puerto Rico and Las Vegas.

Thankfully, I've never had insomnia routinely. It does stink.

Monday at the orthodontist. I took a sick day since i have so many. Binge watched a few episodes of Narcos on Netflix, did some laundry, and paid some bills. It was nice to enjoy the day. Tennis tonight. Back in the office tomorrow.

I had a busy weekend helping a friend move. I promised to give him my Saturday, which I did and moved all the heavy stuff like couches and dressers. But he didn't have it planned very well and had a lot of little things left all around the house. I ended up going back to help today against my better judgement. Without my help he was kind of screwed (had to be out today). But at the same time I felt I had done my duty Saturday. DW was not impressed I spent all weekend away from home. Neither was I, really. Oh well, it's done now.

If he doesn't buy you a crate of beer, let us know and we'll go round and straighten him out. You're a good friend.

I think I might get along with Dan better...I'm a tea drinker....although no milk for me.

Black tea - cold - no sugar - no lemon (not very South'rn, and I don't care)

I carry a thermos full with me to work every morning and drink it across the day rather than soft drinks.
Coffee and espresso are good, but I rarely have either (and more likely in the winter)
Soft drinks are rare as well (unless it's part of a mixed drink)

One more hour to go. Then 3 glorious days off.

Unless they call you in (which seems to be a fairly common occurrence)

Happy Tuesday. I'm into season 2 on Narcos. In case anyone hasn't seen it, they speak a lot of Spanish with English subtitles. I'm thinking i can consider this a teaching aide and take Netflix as tax deduction? Anyway, it is an interesting series.

I drink hot tea most of the day interspersed with water. Iced tea in the summer months.
