What a difference a day makes!!!
I found out from the staff at the church that the pastor hasn't been following his own rules by moving scheduled events to other locations and bumping some entirely altogether. The long story made short - that was why I lost the beach week in June. So, we made another change to the vacation plans.
Spring Break
April 2-7 All Star Movies (5 day park ticket)
Sun - drive down & DHS
Mon - MK
Tues- AK
Wed- Epcot, Via Napoli
Thurs- MK, Tony's
Fri - drive home
All FP+ are made. Didn't get some of the times I normally would want, but did get all the rides. DW and I have done this so many times that we can plan out our times and walking distance easy enough. I was hoping to get CRT for breakfast, but that is an improbability this close out. We'll snack & drink around the world at Epcot, Flame Tree BBQ at AK, DW has Landry's card for AK if necessary. And, I don't like to make ADR on first or last day as I like the time open.
And, we are still going to the Poly in July those same dates. My oldest will do an aptitude test at the Johnson O'Conner Foundation in Atlanta, and then drive to Poly. I booked Ohana dinner, Kona dinner, and Kona breakfast. My plan is not to leave the resort.
Oh yeah, and I'm still working on that beach trip for October. Stay tuned....
Too bad. Your family could have stopped by the Poly. We go at least once a year. The DVC points really helped, and we got a great deal on the resale buy in. If I use my points right, I can get two trips in one year every two or three years with my points, so there is only food or ticket price. Then, we do a room or combo deal every now and then like this year. It is probably not the best use of $, but one we both agrees to prioritize.
Sounds like a plan. So, you'll be there the whole time we are? Definitely a meet up at the pool bar or any bar.
Liverpool really took it to Tottenham. There were two back line errors (donkeys) that lead to those two early goals, but they kept it up for the rest of the half. It was fun to watch. The last few Tottenham games I have watched, it seems like they just kept attacking in the 2nd half, and it was just a matter of when they would win. Not this game though.
Hey Dan. CJ said for you to buy me a beer at Trader Sam's.
Congrats on the silver. Good luck on the snow storm.

Very well put. My oldest is nearly 17 so she'll soon be on her own for vacations. I still have some years with my youngest. But the cost is getting close to saturation point for many, I think. It's been 2.5 years since my last trip and if it wasn't for this dance school trip that came up for this summer, I would still be in a holding pattern.
Sounds fantastic. I would love to stay at the Poly. You can't go wrong with Via Napoli. Looks like you'll just miss DW and DD who finish their dance school trip on July 12.

DIS DAD MEET OPPORTUNITY!!!!
We get to the Poly on the Weds Night. That's gotta be worth a beer or 2.

This is a very positive attitude. I'll try and remember that next time I'm calling our back 4 a bunch of donkeys... Did you enjoy the Spurs/Liverpool game?

That is too bad about cutting it short but you still were able to carve out a pretty nice vacation. Love both the ADRs and you can't beat the Poly as your place to hang out. Have to stop by Trader Sam's while you are there.

Evening All,
We're back from the AAA JV Boys Provincial Championship with a silver medal; the boys had a tough 97-93 loss to our cross-town rival. Lead most of the way through the game, led 16 at the half but those other guys had an amazing 2nd half to take the lead with about 3 minutes to go. DS fouled out late in the 4th as did their other Big. The bigs had a tough weekend with the Refs. The championship was hosted by a school in an area that doesn't see much of the top calibre ball and the refs were a bit out of depth at times. They had a tough time dealing with the size and speed of the bigs on the top teams.
The car accident that happened on the first morning was caused by an 80 year old man. On of the players in the accident didn't play at all on the weekend as he was a bit banged up but otherwise OK.
So now we hunker down and wait for the blizzard that has been forecast for over-night and tomorrow. I'm guessing it will be the 3rd snow day since last Wednesday.
Congrats on the silver. Good luck on the snow storm.
