A terrific day. Election day means a day off work, which means I went to vote and then started drinking around 1:00 PM. Make that a wonderful day.

I think I can still carry mine on my shoulders, but it is a lot more difficult.

I have not liked daylight savings time. I really wish it would just stop, but that would require politicians to think instead of being sheep.

If I did, I don't relish the thought of having to pay for all the damage we'd do by her head smacking into lights and breaking them.

Not over here. I harvested 26 different varieties of cabbage with about 15 plants per variety which worked out to close to 1000 lbs of cabbage.

That is a lot of work. Speaking of work, with our new Republican Governor, I may be out of work next year. Time to wait and see if he values the government contract. We are budgeted thru end of FY, I hope.

Morning all. A friend gave me his old cell phone, which is better that my newer go phone. He re-set it all, and I'm doing updates now. I'm looking forward to having screen without a large crack across the middle.

My foot is feeling ok. It is definitely not a 100%, but I am able to walk without a lot of pain. I'm hoping I can recover over the winter season.

Sorry to work is interfering with DisBoard posting time. It's been a bad few weeks since vacation and I'm ready to ship my daughters to stay with you. Maybe I'll miss them.

Tell me about it. It's been reasonably warm up here, warm enough that I could be out on my bike.
But wet. So I don't want to be out on my bike.

So presumably the sun will eventually banish the clouds... the streets will dry... and the temperature will plummet.


I think I have to bow to the inevitable and park it for the season.
