Another year of performance appraisals are in the books. That makse for a good day! On top of that, one of my co-workers was at Southern Tier Brewing Co. this weekend and brought me back 2 bottles of Rum Barrel Aged Pumpking.

Thank you Jet Blue! The Pirate princess was scheduled to land from Newark at around 8:30 tonight. NOPE! Flight canceled but they could get her to Boston with an arrival time in Orlando around 12:30. After over an hour on the tarmac, she called to say the Boston flight is headed back to the gate. Next step is unknown.

Close enough. The Tambu Lounge at the Poly. One of my go to places. According to the bartender, they told them the construction curtains will be down in the lobby at the end of the week. He was kind of skeptical though.

The kid arrived at 3:15 this morning. We stayed up a bit chatting and I heard the retelling of the travel antics. The Princess is still fast asleep. It is highly unlikely we will make our 9:00 FP for ToT but I am hopeful we will make our 1:00 FP like thing for Be Our Guest. First time trying that restaurant. Tonights plan is to see the fireworks at the MK.

There is no excuse to forget the name of the Tambu Lounge. One of my top three bars at WDW. Tambu, Victoria Falls at AKL and the Bell Vue Lounge at BW.

I agree with you about the theming and walking thru the whole place. And, I liked having a beer at MK. But, I disagree with you about the food, although we only had dinner. I think the Plaza TS & CHH QS are best at MK.

That's a nice thought but he knows better than to think we would leave beer or food in the place when we close up each night.

Hi Guys!
I know, it has been a while again. I guess this is my annual update. I retired in January and we spent the winter in Pensacola, FL, at Perdido Key. We also managed our first Disney trip with grandkids in March, staying at ASMu for 3 nights and visiting the AK with our DD, her husband and 2 of our grandkids! This past summer, we purchased a snowbird condo in Cape Canaveral, FL, just a mile from the Port and a mile from the DISboards.com Welcome Center! So, if anyone is thinking of stopping by the Welcome Center, let me know and we might be able to schedule a DIS Dads meet and greet! We do go up to the Port to watch the cruise ships leave at times so we do see the Magic and Dream heading out to sea.
My DW is doing much better here in the warmer weather of the Space Coast and she is now trying to cut down on some of her meds!
We should be here until sometime in May.

Good to hear from you Mike and glad to hear that your DW is doing better. Snowbirding in Cape Canaveral sounds like a great idea for many reasons.

Wow! I must say how impressed I am by how far and how much this group has grown. I remember responding to the first thread thinking this was a really cool idea this was. I never imagined that it would continue and grow like it has. While I have never been a major participant, I tried to keep up with things for the first few years. Over time, life and other activities have pulled me away from the disboards, but every time I have returned, I have always been surprised with the growth and camaraderie that this group has displayed.

Welcome back! It's kinda rare to see someone with a single digit membership number around anymore. Even Nathaniel, the creator of the club, is a rare sighting these days. Don't be a stranger.
