I believe you! We only have hills on the East Coast.

Way too much material to work with on this pic. The main one might not be PC Lol:rotfl2:

I think that chain pizza places are similar, and I like Little Caesar's. They don't deliver and I'm lazy. You know what they say - pizza is like sex. Even when it's bad, it's still good. :lmao:

Being from NJ I have to totally disagree, the only good pizza comes from NY, NJ, PA, all the rest might as well get frozen cause that what it tastes like, we had 3 Papa Johns within 25 miles all went out of Biz. We also had Crispy Cream they are all gone too. When I go south of VA and further I do not not buy pizza, or hot dogs, always threw them away after couple bites. In NJ all the fast food pizza chains are basically for those who are too lazy to cook a frozen one. Just today we used a coupon for a buy 1 get 1 pizza at a local real pizzeria 2 lg pie fore 13.81:thumbsup2 in my town we must have at least one pizza place in every shopping center ( town has approx 78,000 people)have at least 60 pizza places in town that makes for great pricing:thumbsup2 But if you like the frozen ones I have about 10,000 of them in my freezer at work:rotfl2:

And another attack on the retirement system. The legislation allows contributing agencies to stop contributing to the retirement fund, and in lieu of a lump sum payment they couldn't afford, they can spread payments out over 25 years. So, now all can withdraw and stop making payments.

As of now I have a full 30yr pension to be paid at 62 if I retired now, I have to work 5yrs and 1 month yet to hit 55 and then I can collect full pension at 55. As of now I don't put anything into any pension or benefits. Contract ends 5 months before I have the age of 55. Luckily I'm in one of the strongest unions in the country:thumbsup2. My wife declines her Ins. since the family is covered under mine (med, script, eye, & dental) she gets some extra $ during the year for not taking hers. But I really think I can get a pretty good job at WDW as a frozen equipment manager, if I can't get the job at what I would really like:confused3

Morning, gents

I don't know if I'd quite grasped what it meant to feed four teenage boys before last night.

Invest in a herd of cattle.

Okay... I must be tired still. It took me 3 tries to type "herd".

You keep pie in your recliner?

You don't??????

For the record, I enjoy lemon meringue as much as anything.

mmmmmm.... lemon meringue. Yes please!

Sadly every other person in my house things lemon stuff is disgusting so, as much as I would enjoy eating an entire lemon pie myself, I rarely get to have it.

I'm sorry. This isn't a bad thing, it's an opportunity.
"I brought pie home for dessert!"
"Yay dad! What kind?"
"Lemon meringue!"
"We don't like that!"
"Oh? Guess I forgot. I'll eat it myself, then."

<next day>

"I brought pie home for dessert!"

Repeat as necessary.

You said the name of the Fruit That Shall Not Be Named!!! :scared1:

:lmao:

Only 2 days in so obviously early days, but right now, it looks like I hit a bit of a jackpot on the job. I got to pick a free set to take home day 1, where they had an employee exclusive Xmas set that currently goes for about £300 on ebay, and today I got free tickets to Legoland just west of London for an Lego employees only day on Saturday, so we'll pretty much have the park to ourselves. And they are paying me to go to Shanghai Disney in 6 weeks.

Holy crap! that's not a job, that's a vacation! Congrats, buddy.

Sitting in a recliner takes effort (exercise)

Not the way I do it.

That's my job. I sit in the recliner quite well.

It's not a job... it's a lifestyle.

Morning all. It's Ash Wednesday for all those who didn't notice yesterday was Fat Tuesday.

I am. To be honest I wasn't ready for him to go as well

Good for both of you. I tried to make it at home my first semester of college, but it didn't work and I moved out. Now, I'm ready to throw my daughter out. I know it's me. She brings a whole new level of laziness that even I can't reach.

Evening all it's been busy around the house and I haven't been on much but it looks like I showed up just in time for the pie discussion. I can't stand lemon or coconut, i can tolerate pecan. My favorites are apple and pumpkin.

Don't like lemon or coconut pie? That may be a disdad red card or point penalty. You may even be on double secret probation now. I'll leave that up to CBO.

Disagree about the pizza or the joke? KY is known for its bbq, not its pizza. But, they don't have bbq delivery.

We aren't allowed to have a union so our pay is lower and benefits suck ($6500 insurance deductible). See, right to work states are way better if you're the one at the top making all the money.

I'm sorry. This isn't a bad thing, it's an opportunity.

Brilliant. I've tried that tactic, but in my household, they have different tastes. So, my girls won't eat lemon dessert, but my wife will. If coconut, 2 out of 3. If chocolate, then everyone. The only chance I may have is key lime, but again, this is KY and there aren't many good ones nearby.

Wait.

I thought it was the thread that shall not be named.

Now there's a fruit too?

Beverly!!!

There are unwritten rules in baseball and the same goes here. We just won't throw at you until we see you. But, if that's in WDW, we may not care anymore.

Morning all. It's Ash Wednesday for all those who didn't notice yesterday was Fat Tuesday.
Yes, yesterday was also "Pancake Day", at least that's what we call it here. I think I have had this discussion before, but I'll throw it out again. It's a tradition here to have pancakes for supper on Shrove Tuesday/Fat Tuesday. Goes back to using up your flour, eggs, oils before lent starts - everything you need to make pancakes. Somewhere along the line, it also became a tradition to hide coins in the pancakes. I grew up with that and continue it with my family. It's a bit of a game to see who gets the most money.

Morning gents! Disney trip paid off and flight booked! I get to go back to work on Friday! Board game Tourney tonight (King of Tokyo)! It's been a good day so far and its not even 10am! Now I have all day to play video games and relax until I have to pick the kids up from school.

Ah yes, Ash Wednesday, the day where Catholics all over the world get ash marks on their heads to commemorate the time Jesus played Burt in Mary Poppins...

...hm, I might be reading the wrong book....

Paczkis are where it's at on Fat Tuesday.

You had me at pie.

Between this and your family's choices in how they spend their time at WDW, I think you may need to rent a new family.

This does not suck.

There goes my suggestion of a coconut snack in the middle of a soccer game in London.

:rotfl2: I was all in for the BBQ and pizza in your back yard.

SWMBO told me she was known for her pies when we started dating but I could count on one hand how many she has made in the 26 years we've been together. :sad2:

Pretty sure there's a Constitutional Amendment against cruel and unusual punishment.

I am. To be honest I wasn't ready for him to go as well

We all know exactly what you mean.

That's brilliant!

That is the proper ratio. Wife brought home a pie, the other day, with half that amount of lemon filling and twice the meringue. :(

Unacceptable. This must be rectified by purchasing more pie.

Somewhere along the line, it also became a tradition to hide coins in the pancakes. I grew up with that and continue it with my family. It's a bit of a game to see who gets the most money.

Sounds like fun, as long as nobody loses a tooth.

Morning gents! Disney trip paid off and flight booked!

:woohoo::cool1::jumping1:party:

Sorry. I ate the rest of it. But at least I was nice enough to leave one slice for the rest of you to fight over.

The only chance I may have is key lime, but again, this is KY and there aren't many good ones nearby.

Oh dang!!!!!

I actually got some real life Key Lime juice to make one... like a freaking year ago... and totally forgot! I have to find it and rectify this oversight.

Actually, the ratio you mention would be fine if you just reversed them.

Nice

<and goes straight to hell for laughing... but at least knows not to chose the room where they're standing in excrement up to their waists sipping coffee.>
