So sad about Robin Williams....both DW and I been kinda bummed out tonight. Have dealt with depression before, but never anything like this.

Whats up guys.....my name is Matt ive been 4 times this year last december than september for food and beer...and in may for starwars weekends and that scheduled for december 1-10 this year..my son is 4 and loves it to the max...and so does my wife.......glad to be here.......pirate:

Welcome !!

Good morning!

It's a good joke, but sorry to hear you didn't get the hot girl. My FIL tells me I'm his favorite son-in-law. He only has one daughter.

My FIL says the same thing, but he has four daughters. I don't have much competition, lol

Hi,My name is Carl am I still welcome here Ramdall?

Hi Carl!

My youngest DD had some Target gift cards left over from her LAST Bday. My DW let her use the rest of it today. This one was def Dad approved. And you'll notice she's wearing a Pirates jersey and hat...my tom boy for sure. http://s97.photobucket.com/user/brettcw/media/20140811_205513_zpsd4b7daec.jpg.html She's influenced 2 of her little friends to start playing with Star Wars characters, too.

Well done! The force is strong with her!

Morning, David. Morning men.

I was winning the best SIL for some time. But admittedly, my competition wasn't very strong.

I was surprised when both of my girls wanted to wacth Star Wars the very first time that I asked. We have watched all of them several times.

They both watch Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles on Disney XD. It is hilarious!

Morning...

Early shift today, boss is away and there are some crucial operations to be conducted this morning, apparently I am the only reliable person to do it. :rotfl2:

Some folks never learn :rotfl2:

More importantly though, is the fact that I should be hitting the one year mark for my Disney trip! :cool1::cool1::cool1: Might need to grab myself a ticker tonight. :thumbsup2

Never to early for a ticker.

Good luck with your take-over attempt this morning. :rotfl2:

Naw, you get around boats long enough it's bound to happen...at least you found out early. I watched a guy last year have to bail out his boat at the ramp because his bilge pump failed.
At least I didn't get wet. ;)

Instead of dealing with the nuts on the weekend, leave the boat home and just bring a cooler to the ramp. Sit back and relax. You're sure to get a great show.

As I suspected, it was a DW's fault!:rotfl2:
Hey, if she can blame me when I'm not around, I can blame her, right? :confused3

I guess I shouldn't ask her this question. :rolleyes2

I don't know much about boats beyond knowing how to drink one one, and how to purge over the side on one. However, i have been told by boat owners often, "It's better to be friends with someone that own a boat, rather than owning a boat." ;)
That is sound advice. It is a lot cheaper to know someone with one. :scratchin

They can be a lot of work, and they don't say B.reak O.ut A.nother T.housand for nothing....:lmao:
True story, unfortunately.

I'm a bass fisherman though, so it's a requirement :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Not really, but I use mine....a lot...and that sort of makes a difference.
You'd be depressed if you lived up here. The season is so short.

On another note, we check into OKW on 26 September, and I just found out I'm going to be in Quantico from 16-24 September....DW wasn't dancing about that onw:confused3:lmao:
Bravo! Way to go! Tell her not to forget to back your under ware. :cool2:

Finally found time to upload the picture of all 4 pretty baby trophies DS won. Only because a friend from DW's work called asking me to look at court documents for her boyfriend to see when his next court date is (was today, warrant being issued, was never told court date by attorney). So posting this then trying to get a bit of sleep before im being woken up again.
So… where are the pics of the winner? popcorn::

T-minus 1 hour till the nemesis & family get here….. time for me to hide all my beer and bacon. I'm sure there will be pics to follow! :goodvibes

Morning. 1 more day until the return of school here. :woohoo:

I'm never left in charge, which is a terrific thing. I'd just send everyone home.

What's that saying about a boat? The two greatest times with a boat are the day you buy the boat and the day you sell the boat? :lmao:

Marathon weekend you say? It just so happens I am going to be there then. Would you mind if I meet up with you sometime? Sounds like it could be fun. You guys wouldn't be drinking adult beverages during this event, would you?

:thumbsup2

Disney is going to have to move Marathon week away from the beginning of January before I’ll be able to attend such.
Y’all drink a couple of extra brews for me.

Extra brews......check! :thumbsup2

Is he still around?

Adult beverages? There will be adult beverages? Now I have to go!

Hey! I have an idea, let's all meet at Poly by the pool bar for some adult beverages!

We may have to find a new location this year Randall....Poly Pool being closed and all....:headache:

Enjoy and looking forward to the pics.

Happy Tuesday Everyone! One week to go before the trip. Missed another few days.

Happy Birthday Philip! A day late, but we do the best we can around here.

Hope all are well and I'm off to catch up on the weekend and I skipped Monday.:thumbsup2 Had the dumpster delivered for the remodel and it's amazing how much crap we collected over the last 10 years. Hopefully we leave some room for the contractors next week.:rotfl2::rotfl2:

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Well, it's part of a larger story that would have made for an incredible Trip Report. I would have called it something like National Lampoon's New England Vacation. Basically, anything that could have gone wrong, did go wrong.

Anyway, when we got to Bar Harbor, ME to visit Acadia National Park, we signed up to go whale watching. It was the only thing my wife had asked to do on the entire trip, and being an amazing husband, I made sure it would happen. When we piled onto the boat, the captain made an announcement warning us that the waves were choppy and they were seeing 3' groundswells on the open ocean.

My wife and I are landlubbers. We wouldn't know what a groundswell was if it smacked us upside the head and stole our wallets. Besides, this is the only thing she wanted to do, so we're not bailing now.

We get out into the open ocean and are immediately tossed around like Bobby Knight's folding chairs. This goes on for a good hour or so. The boat turns into a floating M*A*S*H unit, with people losing their lunch all over the place. Finally, after forever, the captain spots some whales.

So they stop the boat. We're still being tossed by waves. Did I mention it was summer? And very hot for New England? 90 degrees? Now the sun is beating down on us. Not only that, but the captain wants to make sure everyone on board gets to see the whales. So they start spinning the boat around.

I tossed my cookies. And my wife was jealous.

I can vouch for the saying that there are 2 stages of seasickness. In the first stage, you're afraid you're going to die. In the second, you're afraid you won't.

Once we saw the whales, the boat changed course. Not to head back to land. We headed out to sea for another hour to see puffins. They looked like little black specks on a rock. Finally, after a 3-hour tour (a 3-hour tour), we made it back to shore. I literally kissed the ground.

Have fun whale-watching, Barry!:thumbsup2

Welcome to New England!:lmao::rotfl2::lmao: I had never been seasick before. Grew up on the water out here. Went on a whale watch out of Boston last year 2 with 5 foot seas. The most miserable day ever for me. The rest of the family was fine the whole time. They still joke with me about how sick I was.

Randall, unfortunately I couldn't get the Ravens game.....sorry :(

Norm, I sent you a text.

I did get the Monday night game vs the Eagles. Mark, I can send you photos since we sit on the visitors side about 11 rows up. If your boys have any particular favorites let me know.

So what your sayin' is Norm is invited, but Randall is not.:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Nice.

I love a Disney Bass Fishin' trip!

Plans to catch some Mickey bass on the 24th as part of our non-park day.

Maybe you should think of getting a screen and protector for the largest viewing area. I have an HD projector and the picture is amazing- when I'm projecting 16'x10'. It is killer and super clear projecting 'smaller'.

The wiring is going in for a projector in case we decide to go that route. We are waiting until we get back and the framing is done to see if it will work out. Thanks for the suggestion.

Hey Fed… well I finally did it. Backed the boat in without the plug. Luckily I remembered when I got out to unhook the boat. I hopped back in the truck and yanked the boat out of the water. Water poured out of the bilge for about 2 minutes. Glad I realized or we could of had a really short trip. :rolleyes2

I guess you can add my face on to the stupidpeople.net web page.

I have seen a few of these cases, most don't end well. Glad you noticed before it was too late. We have also seen a few trucks dragged into the ocean due to forgetting to put the brakes on, unhook the boat from the trailer and such.

Good morning gentlemen,

Very sad news yesterday.

Yesterday Stretch had his big doctor appointments to talk about how we're going to go about reconstructing his year. To say we were let down would be a gross understatement. We could do a prosthetic ear which has a whole range of issues that makes it unappealing. Our other option would be reconstruction. the method this doctor prefers isn't usually done until he's 10 although he'd be will to do it sooner. That has to be done before we can open the ear canal. We were led to believe by the first doctor that he'd be a great candidate to not need a hearing aid after the surgery. His partner who would do the surgery said he's 50/50. he also hinted that with how good hearing aid technology has come he doesn't understand why anyone would need bilateral hearing. Not at all the answer we were looking for or expecting. Right now Stretch can't wear his aid with a hat or bike helmet. Without it he has a hard time picking out sounds on his right. There's a major reason right there I can think of to have two working ears. I'm done venting for now. We're keeping an eye out for get togethers for families with this condition around the country so we can meet other doctors and get a second opinion. Looks like the next one is early summer next year.

I don't see why not. You didn't embarrass yourself at the last one. Much!

I'm in the same boat too. Perhaps once Star wars Land is open we could have one in early June.

I'll try harder next time... ;)

And Robin Williams too...
Very sad news.
Very sad news. True genius.

If you ever have the chance to see his interview on the Actor's Studio watch it. He was unbelievable.
That was an excellent interview and worth a watch
