Scorpion Fish

Spotted Ray chilling (somewhat of a rare find)

Same ray checking out the neighborhood

Great photos. Safe travels.

Had a good lunch today. My mom and her sister drove down and we had Moonlite BBQ for lunch - the all you can eat BBQ. I'm still stuffed. Youngest dd had fun at the self-serve ice cream.

Self-serve ice cream is the devil! On more than one occasion at Crystal Palace, it made me forget that I'm a Type I diabetic!

Yesterday was a bit of a setback for me. Iwent to bed on Saturday night debating if Church was going to be feasible for me on Sunday. Then I woke at 5:30 AM sick in the stomach and payed homage to the porcelain god about every 30 minutes until I passed out from complete exhaustion.

I felt a little better as the day went on and I felt pretty good today. Range of motion is coming back. Tomorrow I'll work from home again and the ideally I'll get back to BAU on Wednesday.

The pampering has practically come to an end. The DW is still being nice but not waiting on me hand and foot any more. It was nice while it lasted! :confused3

Glad to hear you are feeling better!

Good morning guys!

Morning Guys.

Rainy Tuesday here, a meeting or two at work but otherwise a quiet day. I've been streaming the Commonwealth Games at my desk this week and Canada is about to go Gold and Silver in Women's Mountain Bike. The Gold Medalist is from right here in NB.

Proud father moment....

One of the twins this morning woke up, came down stairs and the first thing she asked DW?

I have been in bed thinking what 7,8, & 9 will be like. DW was like what are you talking about?

DD says Star Wars of course! I'm off to buy her a pony and a car today ;)

I love that kid :thumbsup2

Impressive…
You have taught her well

That's so much better than waking up screaming "I hope they're not as bad as Episodes 1, 2 3!"

Something we’re all a might worried about. :scared: :lmao:
She watched II over the weekend and she asked me what was up with the cheesy writing, :lmao:

:rotfl2: This one has the makings of a true grand master.

Nice series of pics there.
Especially that first one (but of course, the kid always steals the show).

I does appear that a good time was had.
I could also see folks having a lot of fun with that picture in a caption contest.

Thst's how that crack got there. :lmao:

Whoa…
Rough morning there. Glad that you’re coming out of it.
Was that the body reaction to all the meds or did you pick up some type of bug to add proverbial insult on top of the injuries?

Top O the morning Dads. Hitting the road on business again this week which makes it harder to get over the post trip blues. Why am I getting on a plane not headed to Orlando or Anaheim? Have a good one guys.

Wishing you well and continued progress towards full recovery. Maybe the pain meds caused the stomach issues?

Why is Darcy looking up French Toyota's???? I thought he was Canadian
:rotfl2::rotfl::rotfl2:

It was a nice get away. Decided not to go out yesterday, the boat was packed and the temp made Animal Kingdom feel Arctic. Unfortunately the kid that is still dating my daughter made it through the certification process without drowning. The Pirate Princess got the photo bug again and took some pictures. Here are a few...

Great piscs!

Hopefully when you get up here you can eat some real lobster…. not that wannabe.

Cool pics! Does she take her shiv with her on dives?
That's one place I'd hope she carried it. ::yes::

All you can eat? Sweet!

I'd stay away from the mutton though.

That one actually seems kind of ingenious... If you have a massive lift at your disposal... :lmao:
I was thinking the same thing…. that might not be such a dumb idea. :rotfl2:

I got an email yesterday that our flight home from Disney got pushed back by an hour and 45 minutes. We might actually get a 1/2 day in a park now. I'm stoked! :cool1:

I can't believe we are less than 60 days away… it still doesn't feel real. Maybe because there is so much summer left. We are heading to Ocean City, MD in a few weeks too.

I agree. That appears to have been thought trough pretty well. It might not be OSHA approved, but it certainly looks safer than, say, building a ramp and scaffolding to drive it on or something like that. :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

Morning all. The summer just seems to have flown by. I do have another injury to report - plantar fasciitis - and have the shoe inserts. So, with injuries to my left foot and right knee, I am a funny site to watch walk down a hallway. Still, I've lost some weight and if I can tolerate the pain a few more months, then I'll have time to heal this winter.

I know a place where they can get certified. Just saying.

Thanks. Problem is where I will take them afterwards. I'm afraid they may find Jimmy Hoffa in the Ohio River. :lmao:

Well done, sir. Quite an accomplishment.
:

Thanks. Wore my tournament tshirt to work today to show off. :lmao:

Prayers for a quick recovery. Maybe it was the pain or the pain meds. When I had Percocet for my wisdom teeth surgery, I don't remember moving from the couch all weekend.

?

Is the bad idea to let your foliage grow over the roof of the house? And I thought I was slow in cutting my grass.

Everytime I drive thru Bowling Green, I see that I-65 South sign and think it would just be a short 12 hour detour to get to WDW. Safe travels and nice fishing pics. Looks like everyone was having fun.

:

I ate a Florida lobster at Ocean Grille at Vero Beach resort. It was good. Yesterday featured BBQ chicken in addition to the regular buffet. My favorite is still the all you can eat catfish.

Well we are here to propagate such acts of brilliance so I’m pleased y’all see a useful solution in that particular process
(and better you then me). :lmao:

To me, the bad idea here isn’t so much the contraption devised…
It’s the decision that while one guy controls the crane (and from a relatively safe protected distance might I add), that someone else would take it into his head that he ought’a be sitting a’top the suspended bit with the independent engine and whirling blades while it’s being swung about willy-nilly like a pendulum.

Being as gravity is an exquisitely impartial arbiter, it’s that last bit there which strikes me as being just a smidgen ill-advised :rotfl2:

Probably has one of those pressure sensitive seats like my John Deere. I guess they could of loaded on some cinder blocks for the needed weight.

Sorry your hurting… More bourbon would certainly be a proper prescription.

I’ve noticed though that everyone one ‘round here that has recently gotten more active athletically seems to also have ended up seeing doctors for repairs and maintenance to various joints as a result of said activities; lots of knees, ankles, feet, arms and such in need of work. I’m starting to suspect that the notion getting fit and losing weight might also be a bad idea.
:crutches: :rotfl2:

Or just bypass that particular safety mechanism...
This is an exercise in improvisational engineering :thumbsup2

Good morning, David and thank you!

Thanks. Upside, the fam is still being nice to me. Very cute when my DDs rush to get me something.

Prayers for a quick recovery. Maybe it was the pain or the pain meds. When I had Percocet for my wisdom teeth surgery, I don't remember moving from the couch all weekend.

Def related to anesthesia and meds. Without going into painful details, let's just say following the surgery, I've been a bit "backed up." I feel like I should be on one of those Jamie Lee Curtis Activia commercials.

So as I did some research on the Internet (everything there is true and in between my Linda Blair Exorcist impersonations) I started self-diagnosing myself with a bowel blockage and a number of other completely unrelated maladies per WebMD. But all the nausea has seemingly passed and I'm getting back to being normal..well normal by my definition.

They gave me one percocet at the hospital and then I think I had 2 at home. That was all the day of the surgery. I am saving the rest for a rainy day. LOL.

After having this procedure, I have far less sympathy for pro athletes. Given the meds that I had at the hospital, I'm pretty sure they can shoot those guys up and have them play through anything.

But boy, when the meds wear off...you know it! :headache:
