Looks like you had a good time too. Sounds like anther good trip. I think that was the hotel we were looking for next year's trip with FIL.

It was a good trip, looking forward to the ToT trip next, almost seems pointless to unpack.

So y'all are thinking of doing a universal trip next year? The only bad thing about cabana bay is you don't get express pass when you say, it's roughly about $55 extra per day, Express pass is def worth it! I counted and we did 33 rides and 10 shows in 2 1/2 days and most of the rides we waited 5 min or less to get on.

RIP Rob Bironas, he did a lot of charity work in and around Nashville and he helped the Titans win a lot of games. Prayers go out to his family and the Bradshaw family. Was married just this past June to Terry Bradshaws daughter, so sad.

It is, magic kingdom open till 1 am got ride of the kids with parents and an early anniversary night. Celebration is starting and we just got here as everyone heads home. TTA people is awesome at night

Haven't done an EMH or anything like that in a while, looking forward to it next year. Have done the TTA at night, though. I enjoyed the Jungle Cruise
at night, found the spiel to be different.

Sounds like a great time. Hope you recover from your sick day soon.

Have a few meets set up for this trip. David P., Ron, Todd B, and hopefully Tim B. when he gets off the boat.

Would like to meet Fed along the way, but haven't heard back yet...

Mooching BIL doesn't want to go, and we all agree on WDW. Then, BIL changes his mind and wants to go to Universal. So, it looks like we are getting to go there.

Def agree with the beer and DisDad meets! Sean and I are starting to plan some for our Star Wars 1/2 weekend trips, our DDs both turn 7 around the time of the race so we are planning on doing like a joint birthday character meal or something at Disneyland. And looking forward to the meet ups coming up in 2 weeks.

There is no joy in Gatorland today. Total beat down by Alabama yesterday. The real disappointing thing is Driskel could't hit anything. The natives are restless to say the least. All we need is a quarterback that can hit an open receiver once in a while and three guys in the secondary that can be at least 5 yards near an opposing receiver.

Some strange and interesting games yesterday. Weird day.

Morning all. Fall is here now, I guess. Counting down the days now to the Boardwalk. I'll have 12 days off, counting weekends.

Yup. But, I've just removed myself from it all. We may end up doing 1 ride at Universal the whole day and I'm just not going to worry about it.

Good Monday Morning Men!

Ceiling is going into the basement today. Another milestone. TV's purchased over the weekend and will be mounted on the walls this weekend. It looks like at least another 3 weeks based on the granite, carpet and tile work. Not bad for a project that was supposed to be completed on Sept. 9th.

DD's hoop team went 1-2 this weekend (the fill in team). She played well, but the team is not that strong as a whole and the 2 games we lost were against 2 of the top teams in the state. A very nice group of girls though so DD said she didn't mind the losses. We start practice tonight with her regular team.

Happy Belated birthday Darcy. Sorry, I was off the internet over the weekend.

Speaking of fall in New England, it looks like I will be up that way over Columbus Day weekend to visit my brother in New Hampshire. We're looking at doing a couple things in the Boston area...

If you are looking for something New England, the Topsfield Fair, the longest running fair in the US, is operating from 10/3 through Columbus Day. Not sure if it is too far away. There are usually a few others around as well.

If you guys get together, let me know. I'll try to meet up as well. I am back from the world on the 9th.

Good morning all. So DW says that I have been playing tennis too much and she wants to spend some time with me. So, I'm thinking beer, flowers, and . Then she says .... wait for it .... I should teach her how to play tennis. Where is the face palm emoticon.

DW wanted to learn to golf so she could go with me a couple of years ago. Lucky for me she never followed through. That would have been awesome getting to spend 5 hours in a golf cart being told I had too much beer, how to hit the ball and having to go into the wood to find her ball as well as mine. Good times.

That must make her feel pretty good. Always nice to know a number of teams want you. Any endorsement deals in the works?

Yeah. Nice to be wanted. She is still learning the game, but has some strong skills, uses her left better than most her age. I was thinking a sneaker contract and maybe a gatorade spot.​

Forgot to mention, today is Talk and Dress like a Pirate Day. The Pirate Princess got an email from the school reminding them to wear SH gear. Can only imagine math class. "How do you find the area of a circle?" "Pi ARRRR Squared."

Didn't make it to either of those but wanted to. Fenway is a shrine, loved going there. Too bad the Sox are not playing. Great place to watch a ballgame.

How is sophomore year going for PP? Hope well.

I for one am glad the Sox aren't playing. This year was pretty rough to watch between the management decisions and just plain ugly baseball. It is a fun park to be at though. The game we went to was the last one for the year for me. Just never had the motivation or schedule free to go back.

I don't have any money, I just don't know how to add and subtract.

And don't forget the 36 credit cards lost and stolen over the last 12 months.
