I don't recall the time frame but i was FAST. I remember going in to look a them again to see if I wanted to change anything and they were already en route!

Tough break for the kids. At least it's the beginning of school. It would be worse going back to school with homework and tests looming!

When we get there in a few weeks, we are going to do Villains Unleashed at DHS. That should be fun.

Undecided about Frozen though. Both kids ice skate and want to say they skated at Disney, but they don't seem too interested in the rest. We still have a few weeks to decide, although all the plans are pretty set at this point.

Today is my last day to customize the Magic Bands!

Anybody know how long after that they will be shipped?

I am so looking forward to going - the whole family is. The tough part is for the kids because once we come back, school starts up the next week.

I got ours within a week after we picked the colors, they are pretty quick sending them

Race to the finish starting gun page ownership.

Bad news is the freezer broke on Thursday and I had to throw some stuff away. The good news is I am eating well these last few days. For example...

A Porterhouse was salvaged





And we had Thanksgiving in July today because a whole turkey was going through an unplanned thawing



Both were unbelievably good. Getting the freezer fixed is going to wait a bit and in the end, it may be cheaper to get a new one than have this one repaired.

Evening Gents. Successful house hunting trip. We've narrowed it down to 2 houses. Same lost price for both. Now the hard part. Deciding on the one.

A good day at work yesterday. The General counsel came in to my office and handed me an envelope with a letter and said "thanks for all your work so far this year." I was a little confused, since I have only been there for 5 months. Apparently, this is the time of year where we hear about pay increases, so I got a modest raise. The company is doing well, could be better, but still doing well enough to give modest raises.

All in all not a bad way to start the weekend.

But then I would have to go out to the front lawn to get stuff. Plus, what do you need a freezer for? There are many good BBQ joints in Kentucky.

Those meals look AMAZING. I just finished wings from a local establishment and I still found my mouth watering when I looked at those pics.

Bummer on losing the freezer. It sucks when you have to deal with unplanned expenses.
