Morning guys, hitting the road for a couple of meetings today. Nice sunny day to travel the highways.

For the record, DW has never really threatened DS with that action. It was just me building up her image to keep him in check.

Did Paul mention that he also just bought a new house (or more specifically, that DW bought a new house he will be financing ) Not sure where all that extra cash will be found now!

Nope, Paul forgot to mention that. I guess you'll have to stop feeding the kids for a few days so you have the $$ for beer. Don't worry, they can go 7 days on water.

Congrats on the new house! We have looked, but not found that perfect house that pushed us over the edge to re-mortgaging the next 30 years. We are under 10 years on the existing house and hope to get it paid off in 4-5 when DS heads off to college. That way we can just keep making the payment without a big jump in expenses. Yup, college is now a mortgage payment.

I like my parents' version of that talk...
I was a teenager and my dad said "do you know where babies come from?"
I said yes and he replied "good, I don't want to see any of them around here!"

DS still not interested in dating or relationships right now. His intense sports schedule seems to have kept his focus elsewhere. I do occasionally tease him so he definitely has his favorites, and I get this look:

Good morning Dads. DD is now at about 25% weight bearing with plan to get to 100% weight bearing by July 4. Also no longer has to sleep in the leg brace having to keep the leg straight so all in all a great day for her.

Happy to hear she is doing better and on her way. I hated that brace. If my experience is any indication, she will get stronger every day now that thing is gone. Continued good luck!

I had a similar discussion with DS. I also added "You know your mother will cut it off if you do."

Just returned to work today after flying home from Orlando last night.

Hard to believe our trip is over already. We flew in to MCO on June 6, arrived at our off-site timeshare resort late Friday night, slept and then hit DAK on the 8th. Went to the parks most days (kids had a break on the 9th and we did TL on the 12th). On Father's Day we headed east to spend two nights on the beach in Melbourne, which was a nice relaxing way to end the vacation.

Still sad to see it pass, but that just means we can start planning the next trip!

People have been having some Photoshop fun with van Persie's goal from their first game against Spain a few days ago. Even a little bit of Disney.

That was an awesome goal. Unfortunately he will be sitting the next game after getting another yellow yesterday. Hopefully they already have enough points to advance and it won't matter.

Been on the mid to high 80's here. Really humid the last few days. Supposed to be hot without the humidity today here.
