Maybe the Marlins have finally figured it out again. Trade all the star players making a lot of $$ and just bring in guys that want to play baseball. That was how you won the last title, right? Low payroll and good players. And you got :mad: at them for sending the good players to Toronto.:lmao::lmao:

I thought the Heat would pull it out in the end once James had some time on the floor. While I do not care for him, he kind of got screwed on a couple of those calls last night. Can you say conspiracy theory?

Not ticked they got rid of most of the players, what ticks me off is when they get a potential superstar (Cabrera, Burnett, Ramirez...) they dump them for salary reasons. Other teams know that once they get to that big contract, they are gone and the Marlins get crap in return. None of the players in the Cabrera and Ramirez trades are with the team and am not sure how many of them are still in baseball. Once ownership signs their young talent to long term deals I will consider buying tickets. Otherwise, I am content to watch them on TV. At least they are entertaining this year.

I think James got screwed a couple of times but what can you do. Surprised Stephenson didn't get knocked out after some of his antics. Anyway I have something to watch tomorrow night.

Why do you get a rental, CJ?

He probably lets Crash drive. $15/day insurance, no questions asked. It's actually a very good value.

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Do the rental car agencies in Fla. have an "open shiv policy"? :confused3

Randall, I don't want to put the miles on the car and if I can get a great rate from Thrifty ($95 week plus addons for a midsize) I would rather drive their cars. Barry, relayed your comment. Since she no longer has an allegiance with Team Barry, I would be careful what you say. Paul, what do you think? It's Miami, of course they do.

Morning guys,

Interesting night flipping between the Marlins and Heat games. Marlins went up 4-0 then Nats tied it at 4-4. Fish scored 4 in the 10th to win it. Heat game was a different story but fun to watch at times. Thought they were going to win it even after getting nothing from Lebron but then George would hit another three.

Laundry is done and maybe will start packing tonight. Snacks and beverages of course are already purchased and bagged. I pick up the rental tomorrow and we hit the road Saturday. Can't wait to get out of here.

Safe travels my friend :thumbsup2

Was at a business lunch today and the customer ordered Red Hook Audible Ale's for all of us. It wasnt bad. Any of you guys had it before?

Been a long couple of weeks, but I am starting to get the field work caught up. Another week or two and it will be mostly reporting :crazy2:, grant writing :scared:, and some grower/Agent visits for the next 8 weeks.

Welcome, prayers, congratulations and bacon and rum all around.

We finally got high speed internet access at home today. Nobody around to use it but I have if for when the family returns. Sure beats dial-up.

Morning Guys,

DW left on a school trip this morning so it's just the guys until Sunday night. I thinking pizza for dinner.

and beer.

You're talking about every dinner until she's home, right? :rotfl2::lmao:

That's how it works here. DW says she is running late from work and i'm in charge of dinner. It's pizza time, burger time, or pizza and burger time. With beer.

I would like to thank Papa John for his assistance in preparing tonight's dinner.

You know what you can watch on the computer with high-speed Internet?

ESPN Sportscenter highlights. I imagine there are some other things as well :goodvibes:goodvibes.

It should be against the laws of nature to be under 40 degrees at the end of May. I actually thought about putting the heat back on last night and this morning.:sad2::sad2:

It is. Go arrest Al Gore.

. This year was the highest sales on our 21 year history.:cool1::cool1: The bad news is the DW has pretty much already spent the bonus and more.:headache:

I'm available for that bonus. You can put the check on the lobsters' claws when you mail them. :lmao:

Can I still claim jet lag?? :rotfl2:.

Yes. How are things? Still on schedule?

Not into driving to DaWorld either, did it once so we could we do the Griswold thing from Nashville (12 hours) but as long as I keep having points we are flying. Canadians / Rangers series has gotten interesting and my Blackhawks at least showed the heart of a champ by taking last night and not allowing the Kings to celebrate on Chicago Ice..

We have an airport here, but it is cheaper to fly out of Nashville or Louisville. Still not cheap enough.

Did you say flipping or flopping? Pacers crybaby about the officiating in game 4 for the Heat, which statistically was about the same as game 1 for the Pacers. Then, Hibbert and and George both got tagged for flopping.

I picked up Garrett Jones in Fantasy baseball. He's been doing ok for me.

He probably lets Crash drive. $15/day insurance, no questions asked. It's actually a very good value.

That's brilliant. I might implement that strategy when I teach my dds how to drive. I'm scared now when my 12 year old drives the Indy cars at WDW.

Good morning!

You're talking about every dinner until she's home, right? :rotfl2::lmao:

Ah man, memories.....whenever Mom was away, we always ate out, Dad only BBQ'd, never cooked. Each night, my brother and I would ask"Where are you cooking tonight?" :rotfl2:

Unfortunately for my kids, I already do most of the cooking, so they don't get as lucky. :rotfl2:

They go to Quebec City and do the whole French cultural thing.

Old Quebec (inside the walls) is a pretty cool place to visit if you are in to historical places.

I think it's a rite of passage for Eastern Canada/ Ontario. I have fond memories of the grade 8 Montreal/Quebec City trips, Old Quebec was great.

DW was running late again tonight. Little Caesar's deep dish pizza and Landshark beer.

Love Landshark. :thumbsup2

There is a ribfest here this weekend so I think I will throw that in to make sure we get another food group.

Well done!

Odd, it's 55 here, and I was just outside in a t-shirt and shorts... Aren't we only 20 miles apart??? :confused3 Or did you move to Canada overnight??? :confused3

Paul, what do you think? It's Miami, of course they do.

:scared1:

Most likely going to do some Int'l trips after this so Disney will be put off a few year. I know.....really......That is Blasphemy!:lmao::lmao:
They have disney in France and Japan and two disneys in china.

My wife is looking into an international Disney trip... I think she just wants to travel to foreign countries and she knows I will not complain much if we go to a Disneyland there.
Call me an ignorant American, but I like being able to easily speak the language of the country I am in and I am too lazy to learn foreign languages. Too bad there isn't a Disneyland in the UK...
