Just finished getting my tax information together- not only for myself & the wife but for the other business I'm 50% owner of.

Now I just need to bring all this to the accountant Tuesday and pray I don't get hammered. I can't afford to get a 2K tax bill right now.

You have my sympathy. I got killed this year and am filing an extension. Hoping to get it down a bit before we actually file.

We don't fly out until late afternoon on the 8th, 3:30 I think. If you get there before we need to head to the airport, maybe we can say . No conspiracy, fitting the trip into the restrictions set forth by DW. Helps keep the peace for the other 51 weeks of the year where I clearly have a hard time following instructions.

It is possible. I think my kid is starting break that day so we will have to figure out when she gets in. And who knows, I have been known to add a day here and there.

Actually yes. I could take a look, but I would l think that someone that knows your stuff from prior years would have a better handle on it. I know a fe really good accountants that I could recommend if it comes to that point. Let me know. You could always file and then amend the return later as well since a new person may not be able to get it done by the 15th. I know I filed all of my clients last week to beat the rush. I have one more to do, but will be filing an extension since they don't have everything together yet. Good luck!

Got my paperwork today to file the extension and will be writing the check on the 14th. I want to go cry now. It wasn't the accountant that was the issue but a guy that oversees one of the investments. Change the account with no thought of the tax ramifications. He is only alive right now because it would look suspicious.

But it is good for hunting Manatees with a camera. Was there in February taking pictures of the Sea Cows. Nice up around there.
